if this doesn't have video out, I don't see the point. I don't want to watch any show or clip of a show on my ipod. I am sure there are a lot of other people who are the same.
but,
if it did have vdeo out of some sort, it would be really attractive. I would buy a show through apple (h264 would be awsome), load it onto an ipod and play it on a tv at my convience, hd output of some sort would be a plus.
Along with itunes 4.9, there is a software update for ipod click wheel. As I have never updated the software on an ipod, I did it for the first time, and after the installation was complete, I was told to plug the ipod into the wall.
Only problem is I have lost the firewire cable, and cannot do so with the usb cable... so I am now sitting here with an ipod brick.
Really wish they had warned me before I went through with this, any ideas on a fix?
well, motorola is the company that is going to be delivering the application, so I think the apple related logo at the top has got to go........
anyway, Eddy Cue is about to be fired, leaking a comment a couple weeks before macworld, and a couple of days before christmas????? not that any of his comments are going to slow down the sale of any apple produced products, it is still a slip and he must be cut loose, there can't be any leaks in the apple ship

Let's just get like 500 of us together sign a contract for them to build, we will write the source code and GUI if they will build this in one desktop box, and resell it to all the masses.

I drove to best buy, pulled the ipod out of my pocket, and pluuged it into a fire connector that was attached to an ipod mini
it will not mount when attached via usb, and a screen comes up that has a diagram of a wall plug being attached....
Anyway, I am at a real loss as to what to do.

I have the zaurus controlling the tv via wireless, and vnc....
It is a show stopper to the friends, particularly when they see the vlc of the same movie on the tv and the zaurus...
