I run it, and after a couple launch daemon removals and some other tweaks, it actually started being more responsive than my previous jailbroken (and launchd-customized) 3.x... There's also a tad more RAM available now than before at about 54MB. Much to my own surprise.
And why is that? It's the same hardware, except that iPhone users can actually *use* their iPhone as a computer, once it's jailbroken. Why is it stupid and unfair?!
1st. Noone cares about EULAs outside of the UK and US. If they contradict existing law, they're invalid, even if they ask you to jump out of the window, when you "void that warranty".
2nd. You DON'T have to pay the yearly 99$ fee to load them on *your* iDevice.
3rd. It's a perfectly effective and reasonable way to download source, launch the IDE and compile + use it on your development machine. When you want to publish your changes, THEN you pay the 100 bucks, and even then, there are ways around it.
Oh, and those guys actually replaced a logic board for *free* on one of my MBPs that was out of warranty for well over a year having the burnt nvidia GPU design-flaw; something I was surely not expecting in Greece!
Zhirinovsky [...] has been dismissed as a “clown”
He's a populist and probably likes being called a top-politician.
Strangely, I had a feeling you were talking about governments when reading your post; I'd be less worried about "traditional" criminals.

Would people continue to be stupid enough to install Symantec software to allow them to?
Thanks, took me much less time, because of you! We're jammin'...
reportedly the Office for Windows codebase is even older
Which reports are that? Office came out for Macs first. Compare i.e. here
Can you buy it as, i.e. a tourist, without a SSN?

You're an idiot.
And to top all this, they STILL don't support case-sensitive file-systems!!!

...and Typo3.
Ever heard of airplane-mode? :)
You're wrong. It's an additional sales channel for (almost) free. Also, it is perfectly possible to put (almost) any price-tag you want. http://developer.apple.com/programs/mac/distribution.html
Sure, they're gonna go to the post office and *pay*. You don't know Greeks.

There's no "straight to Apple" in Greece! He could try Elite Systems in Thessaloniki instead of Systemgraph. They actually know what they're doing.
