Personally, I blame it on Flouridation. Nothing like mass administering a depressive without consent.
It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign substance is introduced into our precious bodily fluids without the knowledge of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core Commie works.
Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face.
I modded down a bunch of them as I saw them appearing this morning, and now all my mod points are back. (and no, I didn't post to this story until now)
Looks like the editors are handing out cans of whoop-ass.
Mineral oil, too. Do some google searches, there are some interesting things to find. I know there's been a story on slashdot about the mineral oil submersion technique, but the search engine suxors.
I'm glad that Reuters took the time to interview such influential and representative people such as a "government employee" and a car mechanic.
In other news, Canadians expressed their grief and shared sense of loss with Americans. "We are sad that it broke up, " Canada Post office clerk Angela Clark said. Vaccuum salesman Joe Smith noted that an Israeli was among the dead, but remarked "speaking for the nation, we don't have anything against Israel, really."
Sigh. The media never stops, even on an awful day like today.
Hmm, I don't think that's the same girl.. her picture doesn't seem to match up with "logiciels".
Perhaps it's Vicky Rezzonico (see the picture on the team page, and here)? The hair colour matches at least, there. But I'm probably wrong, there are several women on that team list who have no pictures up.
Okay, next person gets to go hunt down photos of all the photo-less people on the team page =)
I know I've seen this exact comment posted to broadband stories at least twice before. Of course, Slashdot's search engine can't find it.. neither can Google. Can anyone back me up here?
The benefit is that you don't have to refill it at a, shall we say, inconvenient time. If there is always one usable roll, the second can be refilled without having to hunt for a roll in a cabinet during said inconvenient time.
Not to do so is extremely unsafe, and after coming up to idiots sunday driving in the country at nearly twice their rate of speed, I completely agree.
I don't know about the USA, but in Canada, driving at twice the speed limit is a federal offense (dangerous driving).
Driving at the speed limit (in good weather conditions, in the driving lane) is not unsafe; driving slower can be unsafe if it impedes the flow of traffic.
Also, the parent poster suggests, "People will start doing the friggin' speed limit." If everyone else now does the speed limit, your suggestion/requirement will keep you at the speed limit too.
They have those things already. They're called video game consoles. Examples: Playstation 2, Gamecube, XBOX.
You forgot the biggest CON: Rebooting every time you want to play a game. Why do you think WineX is taking off?
Check out the hot chick on that main page! First the MP3 AK-47 magazine spread, and now this! Keep it up Slashdot boyz!
The show is very much Linux-powered using aalib, XDirectFB, VLC and more
Come on now, don't you know all the cool geeks are using less these days?
As is Saddam Hussein. Your point being?
Okay, then why does the second link feature the name WETA prominently in caps at least three times (plus the image)?

If you can mark an "X", you're my kind of people!
Who knows how long the humans would have been dominant if it wasn't for a certain asteroid 1m years ago?
If you broke off the corner of a piece of toast, and tried to stab food with it, it would not become a spoast.
That is absolutely correct. It would, in fact, become a toark.

But what does that have to do with driving the speed limit? That's what we were talking about, right?
I agree that going too slow is unsafe, and illegal if it impedes traffic.
