I do agree with Ebert when he complains about the dialog in TPM and probably in AOTC. I think Lucas was unimaginative in his accents and languages. Additionally, the actors seemed bored.
I don't think that news that is proven incorrect should just be changed. If it's news that's being reported, I think it should stay as is, but with corrections added. Authors should at least note that the original story has been modified.
Actually, that's not true. In my state, underage children are allowed to R rated movies with adults. We do, however, have one great theater that never allows children under 6 at any time for any movie. It shows a mix of artsy/mainstream movies that most children wouldn't like anyway. The point is, that children are allowed in R rated films in the US.
I recently spent over sixty bucks on refilling my Epson 760 because it was clogged. By the time I got it unclogged and my relatively simple tax form printed, I needed another $30 black ink cartridge. The printer companies have been ripping us off for awhile and I'm glad to see some alternatives.

Will classic apps still run in classic environment? How long until the classic compatibility layer is no longer functional? Did anybody hear any specifics?
Woo Hoo, Spring Loaded Folders is all I wanted.

I'm thrilled to see spring loaded folders coming back!
Still, had to choose to wear them. I think it's cooler that it became part of him. I also don't mind them coming from his wrists rather than from spinners at the base of the tailbone because it makes more sense. For spiders, coming from the midsection is the most appropriate place. For a Spider-Man, it makes more sense to come from the wrists for aiming purposes, swinging purposes, etc.
I'm sure many will disagree, but I don't mind when movie directors change small things about a character like Spiderman if it adds to the story. In the article written by the submitter, the guy who made the original movie complains that Spiderman2002 will shoot webs from his own mutated body rather than contraptions made by Parker's own engineering. Personally, I prefer that as it makes him able to sling webs anytime(not just when he's suited up) and it doesn't require as much an explanation. If they made this movie with him inventing a web-slinging device, we'd all be arguing about the feasability this weekend!
You don't use the shell to browse the internet; you use a browser(lynx, netscape, etc.) On the Mac, you don't use the Finder to browse the internet; again, you use a browser. Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer should be two different beasts.
Of course, if you tax sci-fi products, then the people you're taxing will one day want something back for it.
Another thought, you usually get some services for being taxed. In this case, the thinking is that producers of sci-fi products are benefitting from the space program. Honestly, we all know that the space program has benefitted from sci-fi writers and tv/movie-makers. I'd bet that NASA has been getting ideas from the entertainment industry for a couple of decades now.
Also, the space program does benefit when a new sci-fi movie comes out because the movie generetes interest in it.
Plus where do you draw the line between sci-fi and reality? There'd be lawsuits for years arguing that something was/wasn't sci-fi.
...what the hell do you need to open that many windows for...
I've seen a performance testing suite that simulated multiple simultaneous users to test remote cgis. It opened a window for every user and would probably run into trouble if it was being used to do stress testing.

It's okay to get excited because they(home consumers) haven't been doing it for all that long.

I think they mean fewer teens and adults would choose to see the movie if it was a '12'. However, I'm curious:
You won't allow your four year old daughter to see it if it's a '12'(without the headbutt), but you would if it was a '13'(with the headbutt)?

True; however, I'm sure starring role will be well done. He's an excellent actor. I admit was concerned at first though.
Good point; however, genetic mutations are more fun to accept than mechanical engineering feats;-)
I'm sure we'd argue about anything, though.
Exactly! Without CG, hollywood wouldn't be making this movie at all. The proof is, that it hasn't been made for the bigscreen yet!

Just my opinion.
He'll definitely seem cooler; however, spidey 1992 will have a significant advantage as he is 10 years younger!

It's not very open, if it's not understandable.

Don't ask "What's the point?",
instead realize, "There is no Butter"
Sounds like the ramblings of you average conspiracy theorists.
The reality here is, "There is no butter."
...which is why is was so few words...it's low cal
I didn't expect people to try and make money off of it, though.
I always expect people will try to make money off of everything;-)
You'd butter believe it...
