Ecost.com is better than Tiger Direct but TD is not that bad about returning things even if their prices fluctuate madly from day to day. As long as you approach buying something online with a bit of research than you should not get scammed from TD's schizo pricing.
I have no use for a device that stores less than 50 gigs atm. 64 gigs actually barely meets those needs. I would actually like something that could work with a few dozen USB boot images which my job requires, so 100+ gig would be ideal. That is why my current netbook has 160 gigs.
5000 people died, that is a minor annoyance compared to the trillions we have spent fighting terrorism and the 100,000's of people who have died around the world in warzones. Those trillions would of saved for more lives if spent on health care, infrastructure or if they shot them out of a cannon on top of the White House.
The man weighs over 400 lbs and is diabetic, 5 years is pry a life sentence.
BTW, not to disparage the famously fat folk on Slashdot but being morbidly obese is a sign of trauma in childhood for those who are not simply genetically disposed to it. I wouldn't be surprised if the Senator himself was abused.
There are people getting purposefully put in jail to pay for treatment and you call that living in a free country? Why should the poor's only option be emergency rooms or jail/prison for free healthcare?
I think you have a pretty warped view of what it means to be an American.
AS a person who has dated a postgrad Anthro chick who stripped in a burlesque type show in PDX, I find your lack of faith and/or taste in strip clubs disturbing.
As an engineer and inventor I disagree. Sometimes corporations utilize their power ( money, markey position, etc ) in any industry to steal from the workers. Look at Intel, imagine how real competition would of lowered prices over the past 10 years and what we could of done with that money.
It is not much of a choice when no one even tries to help the woman carry the pregnancy to term at PP. Go to PP and tell them you are carrying your child to term and they will tell you need insurance and refer you to a OB/GYN. That is not choice, my friend.
Again, as a progressive pro-lifer I have nothing to do with abstinence only education but I think it has done far less damage to the health of women than not having universal health care. Republicans even so called "pro-life" ones loathe the idea of the poor having access to health care and that is something that must change for there ever to be a real choice involved in the decision of abortion. They can't see the forest for the trees on this issue and it is commendable that some pro-life democrats can.
As a long time progressive pro-lifer I must say that the type of groups you are talking about to my knowledge have not existed since the 80's. Most pro-life groups I know of that do outreach have people that help with getting a job, getting into school and very often helping with childcare. The last one I volunteered at even had a licensed therapist come in that treated issues like having an abortion, domestic violence and post-partum depression. Show me a Planned Parenthood that does counseling for grief after the abortion, it seems PP is more of the cut and run type when it comes to this issue.
I'm a member of CFI and not bound by any theology, so your blanket statement doesn't apply to me or most of the people I know who work at pro-life groups like Democrats for Life, PLAGAL and other progressive groups or even volunteers at centers that are sponsored by religious organizations.
Fuck that, someone needs to get this settled once and for all and I'm glad it is this guy and not me.
I had a similar situation arise early in my sysadmin career that only involved a PDA from a salesperson with contacts on it which we easily hacked; however, I learned later the guy came back for his personal PDA to find it had been wiped clean, I'm still surprised they never called me to testify but he did get a large settlement over that and his termination. I have no idea why exactly he was terminated, way above my pay grade. The CIO and CEO were in that room with me when we broke the encryption and quite honestly I never bothered to ask if what I was hacking was company property or not, because I was not the keeper of the PDAs, Blackberries and Cell Phones that was all through sales/marketing. I had no idea what I was doing could be considered illegal but again I did not ask. Could I have been sued or had charges brought against me?
Drunk driving still does not even begin to touch the amount of people who die due to distraction. It would be more prudent to have more stringent driving requirements up front for any driver's license rather than punishing ever more people who have had a few beers and are driving home. In my state of Oregon you can be arrested for a.01 BAC and be given a DUI, it is becoming pretty insane.
Cops are bullet stoppers, like front line infantry. They should be treated as expendable, as in reality they very much are. It is very easy to train a person to be a cop, usually takes less than 2-3 years.

Um, pastafarians don't exist lol. They use meetups to talk over atheist/agnostic happenings.
There are numerous FSM ( Flying Spaghetti Monster ) and CFI meetups across the country that would beg to differ.
I've been taking it since I was 17 and I am now 32, I'll let you know how it goes.
Before you get too old I would exercise to the point where the same routine takes less energy at least.
That is about 15 bucks a month, not too bad. As long as they have an unlimited data plan for about 50 bucks I would do it.

64 gigs is not enough for me.
Master criminals wear suits and work on Wall Street or Washington.
I have a cheap Verison phone and it has dropped a call once in the past 2 years. Why would you use something that drops calls at all ?

Ergo the reason they created a corporation to research the properties and usage of wangs.
Its like turning 30 in Logan's Run. Good luck with the creepy old man and his cats.

Maybe you should learn a bit more rational debate and a lot less rhetoric, it will get you a lot further in life.
Welcome to the Internet.

Well to do that you are going to have to hire a lawyer.

who cares? I would rather have terrorists blowing up trains, planes and automobiles than live in a fucking police state.

If an officer is acting against the constitutional rights of any individual, that individual has not only the right but the duty to resist.
Such subhuman pieces of shit as this officer should be raped by dogs than fed to them.
