How would you know? He's not hating Obama for the sake of hating Obama. You seem to think that if they complain about Obama they must want a republican in charge.
In a free market, I would ask to see your training(degree) and your experience before I hire you as a pediatrician for my children.
In our current situation I would do the same.
If I find you not good enough for my children, I would go to someone better.
Given the amount of crapware bundled with most laptops, wiping and reinstalling Windows from scratch might actually be a good idea.
It's exactly what I do with all my new computers. It's not too hard to do.. I ran a windows update and had to hunt down a graphic driver. That's about it.
You're making a huge mistake in calling video game consoles and iOS devices and smartphones, "computers." THEY ARE NOT. These things are content-consumption appliances, not general-purpose personal computers.

According to some comments on the mini microsoft blog [blogspot.com], between 50% and 80% of what few WP7 phones
According to some comments on some blog, Android devices have a 99% return rate. It's true because it was a comment posted by an anonymous on some google blog.
Sadly though... your comment was modded +5 insightful without giving any real evidence. Also this is only happening to a few phones, (what I've read is the minority). This is their first phone update, there's bound to be a few problems here and there.
"Um, since when did WP7 have a nice app ecosystem? "
It has a lot of apps for the amount of time it's been out. It has over 8000, which isn't bad for the few months its been out.
"What are you smoking? WP7 - community. " It has the.Net Community as well as the Windows Mobile community. MSDN is huge.
I find Mobile Office quite useful, a few weeks my last job contract ended and I had my Resume on my phone. I was able to make quick edits when needed and sent it out to interviewers.
The OneNote is also nice to make quick notes that you can access from your phone or your windows live account.
As for the lack of carriers, they're coming to Verizon later this year.
" lagging in features "multitasking, cut and paste, and custom ring tones." most of this stuff will be there by march. Plus I can multitask with the phone right now, just not with 3-rd party apps. I can still listen to music, while texting, or writing email or surfing the web. I can't imagine what other multitasking i need. As for copy paste, I've only seen a use for it very few times. Custom Ringtones is also not a big deal, but would be nice.
". Small library of applications." Well yeah.. it just came out. It's growing fast for the time it's been out.
"Thing is people are pretending that this is Microsoft's first OS in the Mobile space. It isn't called WP7 for nothing folks." This may not be their first phone, but they rewrote the OS.

You don't like Obama, must mean that you're a southern conservative racists who hate black and poor people.
Probably would be a good time to start voting for third parties?

Datasets? Are you guys working with .Net 2.0? I don't know any .Net shops that still uses Datasets anymore.
I know that would never happen, but it would be cool if it was then able to play with people using Xbox 360..
I thought they only make you pay the 99$ a year... I wasn't aware of the 30% for each app you sell..
Some one is paranoid.. not everyone who says something good about a MS product isn't working for MS. He could just be a big fan...
Actually, I remember seeing an advertisement for a two screen laptop running window 7 (well they called it a tablet)

You should ask for a raise... I got paid more doing C# as an intern.

Managers choose VS, not developers.
Where I work, the developer choose the tools. We chose: Visual Studio 2010, XCode, and Eclipse. Each one for a different job.
Well I agree with you. I can't wait for Nokia's first WP7 device.
I also love developing apps with silverlight, I think that was a great idea on MS part.
Because some people do like IE...

Google still wins for searches related to writing code and interpreting errors.
Actually, I found that Bing does very well with this.
Exactly, As long as theres PC gamers, there will be PCs.
PC are not dead.... not for a long time.
It' was more -1 Hurt my feelings
due to this: "just wish open source guys would move on from the 90's already." Also you said something positive about MS on slashdot.
Most linux user won't use Visual Studio, because it's from MS and is not free(as in free speech and as in free beer).
.Net is great would be awesome if it came to Linux.
But I do agree with you,
"When was the last time you saw people get excited about a new Microsoft product?"

What about Microsoft own public license. That's open source, is that banned too?
