You mean a extra program running to fetch ads over the internet takes more battery?!?
Oh my, it's such a big surprise!!!
Next you're going to tell me that turning up the brightness to max takes up more battery too!
Before, the easiest way to be heard was to walk outside and start screaming with signs.
With the arrival of the internet, it's much easier to have your voice heard, so many of the screams and signs have been digitized.
Where in this magical world do you have the problem of too much overtime?
Most everywhere I look, I see people getting shafted with 20- hours, not 40+.
Coffee tastes like shit, most people i know flood it with milk (or my boss with water) before they can even attempt to drink it.
And too my knowledge, there's 2 (main ones, I guess a third is some people legitimately enjoy it) reasons to drink coffee:
1. For the caffeine, because ya know, they need the energy. Or
2. Because it's socially acceptable, to fit in and what not. My coworkers all think I'm weird because if I need the caffeine in the morning, I drink a coke.
Taking out 1 of the 2 reasons to drink the shit isn't really going to do anyone any favors.
Because if Yahoo collects, say, $50 billion from Facebook and forces the social networking company out of business, consumers will revolt and demand patent reform.
As awesome as this fantasy scenario that takes out 2 birds with one stone sounds, lets be honest, it's just that. A fantasy.
Facebook isn't going to crumble any time soon, unfortunately.
And it's nuts.
A company should be on their knees begging customers for business. Customers are the lifeblood for a company.
Ahh, but I suppose I'm just too old fashioned for this world...
Whittaker explained why he left Google: 'The Google I was passionate about,' Whittaker writes, 'was a technology company that empowered its employees to innovate.
Whittaker rejoined Microsoft.
I'm not trying to discredit anything he's said, but how is Microsoft better than Google? (or vice versa?)
You just switched from one corporate entity to another:/
Go to any android store app (or...play now, or whatever. I liked the old icon better), and read the comments. They're almost always "I have issue X on phone Y"
In my eyes, at least, projects are ways to find something that works.
Finding that something doesn't work doesn't equate to wasted money/time.
I believe Edison said something similar about how many times his lightbulb failed.

If you butter the popcorn it may work, depending on the activist.
This is a very interesting concept, too bad every animal rights group will throw a fit.

Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
Update. I have no sympathy for people using 10+ year old operating systems.

I like this point, thank you for your comment.
...they seemed to think it was enough when the iPhone 4 prototype was stolen.

Yeah! Google would bid $1.25 and a double cheeseburger.

Developer couldn't sell his crappy games, says consoles.
Huh, good point.
Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Because they ran out of foot to shoot.
Good grief, seems there can't be a single good article about Mozilla as of late.
On Tuesday his mother said: "Today, yet another British citizen is being sold down the river by the British Government.
Dear British government: Please grow a pair and tell the US to fuck off.
An iPad? Pfff, that's so last hour. The iPad 45 came out a few minutes ago.

Oh please, all you had to do was grind. That wasn't hard in the slightest.

If I sit down at a computer, I don't want to be given a phone/tablet interface.
From the summary alone, it sounds interesting. There's still one huge, giant problem with it.
It's an Apple product, I'm more of an Orange guy.
Clearly, his other self downloaded it.
