I watched the Olympics a bit last night when I visited my father, I was pretty heavily annoyed with the coverage.
With constant focus on pouty teens and their families, i was half convinced I was watching some new drama show.
If I want to know more about the athletes themselves, I'd watch the news. Please just stay focused on the performances. |:
I've owned several Wacom products and no, they did not create something equivalent to the iPad.
In terms of OS and such? No.
In terms of "a rectangle shaped tablet with rounded corners"? Hell yeah they did. That's every single one of their products.
At the company I work for, whenever we...
1. Get a new PC
2. Leave the company
we're required to do a wipe (and the tool is actually in the BIOS for easy access)
If you're worried, this is the best way to get it off your mind as well.
For...who exactly?
So we've got an ad company, a company that steals and sells personal data, a dwindling marketplace, and a growing marketplace.
Yes, these four companies are totally represent the internet well.../sarcasm
As someone who's used word perfect, it phasing out isn't exactly a huge loss for the world...
The only thing i liked better about them was the desktop icon.
The reason MS Word won in the end, especially, was because it had freaking pinball.
Battlefield 7 is coming out in 2014, it'll cost about $100.
But it'll totally be worth it, right? Because it'll have (insert retarded extra content that 6 didn't have here).
...then the biggest problem lies in the obstacle course itself.
In wipeout, the obstacle course looks stupid easy, and it seems that they only pick contestants that have the dexterity of an infant.
In the Japanese ones that I've seen, i can take one look at the obstacle courses and say "fuck that, I'd never win"
The contestants themselves varied in skill as well. There were some that failed at the gate, and others that would just wow you.
...I prefer to list out stuff like that in a journal using pen/paper.
I get a great personal satisfaction drawing a line through fixed bugs over just deleting a line of text or checking a box.
You mean Apple is forcing people to buy their hardware again to update their software?
I, for one, am totally shocked at this completely unexpected turn of events.
Rules and laws are useless if not enforced.
I get (and block) at least 2 robocalls a week, and after googling each number after the call, I'm nowhere near the only one.
What we need isn't new rules, but to simply enforce what is already there.

Wacom has been releasing "tablets" long before both the ipad and the galaxy existed, should it start suing too?
buttock pressure.
That machine better be self cleaning, and do a fantastic job at such.

To...what?
Last time i looked for an alternative, the only thing I could find was a crappy HP knockoff.
Piracy doesn't exist on the iPhone, right?
I'm just another idiot, so fuck off google.
Stop making fun of me because I forgot my name again.
we simply request that you change the cover design when the book is re-printed
They go on to offer to help pay for the change if he does it sooner than the reprint/on the digital version.
$300 per employee, which is about a month's worth of salary.
If you're only paying your employees a measly $300 a month, how about a raise instead?
If the battery gets bigger, thus giving it a bigger battery life, sure.
Even "dumb" phones I've bought have had app stores at launch.
Granted, Tetris is probably the only one I ever paid money for.
Developers go to where the customers are, no matter how good an OS may be.
Just look how long it's taken for them to start taking Android seriously.

The part wrong is the recipient, it's supposed to forward your messages to big brother, not your friends.

Rich people don't like to go slow.
Uh, based on WHAT fact?

Will they be the first of many, or will cheaper products override people's conscience?
Cheaper products? From Apple? What insane universe are YOU from?
The only change in keyboard I will accept is a transition from keyboard to devices simply reading your mid.

Sensationalist and very wrong summary.
I don't expect much from slashdot as of late, but i expected better than this.
