Whenever I see a story like this (or napster etc) I always wonder why people dont think of hosting the servers in some other country.
Unfortunately America whilst having a laudable set of ideals in their constitution also seems to be a country where if you piss off someone in power (political or corporate) you will be slapped into the ground pretty quickly. Don't get me wrong this is not a jibe at America as you would encounter similar difficulties in a lot of "free" "democratic" countries worldwide.
Now the question is what is a country that actually gives a crap about peoples right to say what they like?

Great work braniac, you are stifling speech by the act of (as others mention) assuming all the songs are "guilty" without proof.

Napster will never be able to completely block chosen bands, its as simple as that - human ingenuity can get past anything.

Here are some reasons I buy books occasionally:
    • You can read them in the bathroom.
    • It would cost me more in time locating and collating from the various sources than it would buying a decent book.
    • I have a crap memory and having everything to hand in a nicely indexed book helps makes up for it :-)

These are personal reasons though, I guess different people have different requirements.
