And he got caught by an angry nerd who complained he didn't even offer DVD ISOs ?
He had it coming.
> Is copyright infringment now a terrorist act? I'd be surprised to see what the definition of terrorism has become, since... hmmmm... say the end of last millenium.
I imagine: 1999: Terrorist : a nasty fellow who kills innocent people as a retaliation against their government policy.
2004: Sombody who believes Acronyms should not be considered as gods, especially acronyms in ??AA.
Face it : Geeks are not a significant part of the workforce. Most of my colleagues would actually rather use Microsoft products because it'd ease their transition.
BTW, Microsoft confidence in this market might be related to BEA (WebLogic)'s success which could bring their commercial apps to Linux.
Most conservatory students I know would prefer to get paid for what they do : it's indeed a very difficult job and they cannot afford to give their work away. Last year, we interepreted Mozart's Krönungsmasse with some students and they categorically refused to have their work uploaded and available for free. If you want somebody to give away free music, you'd better ask somebody who has a name, time and money.
Here in.CH, we've got Postmail.ch, which has got a damn good PIM fully sync'able. Also, as the Swiss Post is a gov agency, I guess this will still be here in a few decades... I don't think Google might last that long : remember Altavista before Google ? There are still here but nobody (but me, especially because of their superior query language) care anymore...
I can clearly see that you are not a Mac user You should either see an eye-doctor (occulist ?) or revise your judgement;-)
BTW, I think ported games run great on Mac, I could play Unreal Tournament on a G3/800 iBook with maxed RAM even despite the minimal specs mentioned a G4...
Should we try to figure out what we should do because some underused psycho chose to make a barely pertinent musical taste study ? I thought the music that we listen too was more related to whom we listen to music with, so if you have a manager who grew in some Bronxesque area, he'd listen to the Ramones or Public Enemy rathger than to Mozart...
Well, at least this will ruin advertisers, then spammers... And as long as I am not bothered by bulk email, I am okay. Anyway, I'd have to imagine the worm you are describing as an OSX worm to make it a bad vision.
3d mouse on 2d screen ?
on
3D Mouse

What's the point of moving a mouse in 3D if we use 2d monitors ?
Tracy Lords faked her age and performed in many movies and magazine before she was 18. All of these have been forbidden and, should you get her Playboy issue (even now), you wouldn't get her naked pictures because she was below the legal age.
Now, how many access to Tracy's pictures (or pictures/movies banned for similar reasons despite the model's past and present willingness to be featured) were part of these 10000 pages ?
Well, it almost proved to be usable, once...
P.S. The whole thing - filesystem as a DB - is complete crap
Remember BeFS ?
It was quite optimal, IMHO.
I marked all as frauds without reading them, why should I even consider "US Bank" mails while I am living in Switzerland ?
It just looks like the Celeron still gains when it comes to encoding videop streams...
So I would not say that the Sempron always wins.
I'd be curious to know how many of these will be downloaded within a week...
But are 'good viruses' really a good idea?
No.
These could be Trojan.
If I give you some worm that's supposed to cure another but which in fact is another one...
No.
And he got caught by an angry nerd who complained he didn't even offer DVD ISOs ?

I actually IMdB'ed Brin because I had no idea what his connection with movies was...
I think this story is just lamer than any they had refused.

Rodin has already been there, done that...
I found it in my cache, you'll find it here.
BTW, is this a rendered picture or a real photograph ?
Looks like some 3D or Maya or even POV stuff.
And as this still imply being limited by MySQL connections being maxed out, here's the link to the picture in itself.
No, I only play against bots... ;)
So, Doom3 should be okay in monoplayer
What I like with fps is that I can decide to play 5 minutes and it lasts 5 minutes.
With Warcraft or whatever, it always ends up lasting for days.

This is the "other story" that I was refering too.
I just wish the game included all the revised maps of the original doom1 and 2 games. :)
At least this is decent, so this mean this might even run on some of the high-end G4 MacIntosh, once ported.

We were plenty to beg Yamaha...
This is the reason why they opened the 01X, but not the SW1000XG.
