I bought the TrendNet TV-IP312W (day/night with ifrared light, wireless network). It works fairly well. Requires IE for setup, but supports RTSP, save to Samba, FTP, motion detection with auto-email.
If it's that good, why don't they just require standard government ID and use the face recognizer to determine if the buyer is the person on the ID and let the ID provide the age?
I got a tour of this lab a few months ago. It was totally amazing to see rats at various stages of recovery. Freshly broken backs with nasty looking scar and staples dragging themselves along with their front legs, to near fully recovered rats walking on all fours. Really really amazing.
My girlfriend always thought it was kinda mean to use lab rats, but after seeing these "heroes"... she's changed her mind slightly to "these little guys are saving lives"
As a side, this lab had some cool stuff going on. Glow in the dark mice, rats injected with cancer. I love the sentry rats that have nothing done to them... with a sign on the cage that says "If these rats are dead. Get out of the room"
Last time I checked, Mountain Dew in Canada is caffine free. I remember someone telling me that in Canada you can not put caffine in a pop (soda) unless it is dark coloured.
I wonder about this myself, but then rental shops have a limited number of inventory that can be rented out at one time imposing a limit to the amount of money a certain movie can generate for a single day. With this EZ-D format, shops could potentially have limitless daily rentals.
does this make up for lost revenue in late fee's? I don't know.
It's the same idea (AFAIK), but this doesn't require that you own some stupid player to play the things. The old Divx idea was it's own standard/format and required a Divx player. This EZ-D stuff you can play in your DVD player... big plus, I'm sold.
Schedule says it's gonna air again starting on the 14th and 15th of December in a big ass marathony type event.
This was filmed in Vancouver BC (Along with many other of your favourite (<- see, Canadian spelling even) shows and movies! GO CANUCKS GO!
Sucky thing is that I don't think I can watch this show on TV up here as our cable package doesn't get us SciFi. Damnit... I guess I have to wait till it shows up on the p2p nets
I've used OPT before and love it! Many really nice features, and I just love the task system. It's web based, and from what I remember, was quite easy to install/setup. Though I've never used it for a large corporate project, I've used it for personal projects (just to manage myself and such) and for a few small contract gigs.
If you're like me, then you live in Canada and were pissed to find out that Netflix didn't ship up here (even if they did, it'd end up being expensive given the CDN peso + whatever else).
DVDHype is a Canadian based service much like Netflix. Their website leaves something to be desired, but their service has been great and shipping fairly fast (4 days from east to left coast - they are based in Ontario I think and I am in BC).
PS. I don't work for them, or even use subscribe at the moment (damn school), but I like em.
I've been in Australia for the last 3 months (where Farscape is filmed, I believe) and now that I'm back in Canada (where SG-1 is filmed... a few eps filmed up at SFU, I might add) I'm aching to watch some Farscape. A while back, the only canadian channel to have it was YTV (Youth TV), but they cancelled it when they realized that it wasn't really a youth program merely because of the Henson puppets. SPACE (our cool ass sci-fi channel) only has ep 2 for this summer:(. So does anyone know of anystation that we can get with basic/extended cable up here in Canada (the left-coast) that carries Farscape?
Do I have to resort to downloading the episodes again?
Apples and Oranges. When you buy a car, but buy a CAR! but when you buy a CD you are buying the music (or at least the right to listen to it or whatever). Don't be stupid.
Well if I take an "artistic" photo of my nude body on print (not digital) it may be considered "fine art". If I digitize it, does it somehow loose it's "fine art"ness?? If I alter it, does it loose it's "fine art"ness??
Anti-art maybe:) hehe
This ain't no solar system... it's the all seeing Eye of Sauron! Creepy.

... to hope for a Microsoft Yahoo! post-merger demerger? Only with Yahoo pocketing all the cash?
"Boing Boing" with out a "proper protection" with random "internet friends" could snag you a nice case of the clam, clap, or HIV/AIDS.
This guy must have not been paying attention in sex ed class if he is just now realizing this.

Pesky kids let the air out of your tires, just fill em back up with your fuel... or run out of fuel, fill from your tires.
I believe the URL above should be: AndrewSullivan.com
So does this mean that if we cleaned up the air, we would get more sunlight and more skin cancer because we've already done damage to the ozone?

Oh oh!! L-I-P-S!!
First I thought, Jeeze... I can already read Lisp, emacs style...
Then... ohhhh... they mean Lisps... like a speech impedement... That would be cool, to read lisps.
But reading lips makes much more sense.
Nope... I don't get it either.
:) mmm.... Seven...
Although Moore seems to make "The Second Superpower" somewhat dependant on the internet and the inhierent information readiness.
He make some claims about the second superpower being a sort of "collective"... well, we all know how "collective" minds turn out
First BBS's, and then Warcraft!!! What next?? Some sort of fancy persistant universe?? CRAZY!!

So logically the next thing I would buy would be a fancy schmancy flat panel.
Are these figures skewed for reasons like this?

on the box my kb/mouse/speakers came in:
"Please read the product instruction carefully before you use and don't use on the other purpose which instructions does not mention"
Anybody know of any other canadian etailers carrying this (or other cool DVD's for that matter - like farscape episodes)?

I take pictures nude pictures of myself and then use photoshop to digitally "enhance" my penis. Is this considered "art".
