I NEVER give out information over the phone to people that call me our my business. I explain as politely as possible that since I can not verify they are who they say they are (or what company), Ill have to contact them with the number I have on file. Much of they time they try to argue with "but why would I?" or "but I am, you can believe me, Chase bank is a very good bank!". I generally pay my bills on time, so most of the time it's not a big deal, even if I am late on a payment for what ever reason, I know who it is and when the payment is going out.

Anyway, turned out it was a SKS all beat up with the packing grease still on. I ended up trading for an OTV vest and the SKS. yeah, there is crime on Craigslist if that's what you're looking for. So, I use Apple's at home and work. I do all sorts of photo and design work and some lightweight video. I am not even a regular Joe and I don't know what I would do differently with this port. I love the idea of how Firewire800 works and it works better transferring big files then USB 2, subjectively at least. We already have HDMI/DVI/DISPLAY ports, so where to implement this? I head about FireWire so long ago and they are just becoming available all over. Now we need a new highspeed port? This maybe putting the cart before the horse.

I owned a small weekly paper. It cost me $500 to print 6000 copies in 2 color for a 4 page spread. Now it sort of true that it didn't cost much to print as $250 of my printing cost was the plate set-up. On top of that it was a further $125 per week to deliver to all 200+ pick-up locations. The whole reason I got out of it was that I just wasn't making enough money. Even with a free paper with decient readership it just was not possible to sell ads, even when they are a scant $25-$100 per month.

Point of fact, other then some attempts to slander me and a quick consult with the international law firm my liability insurance payed for (they take it very seriously) I never heard from that lawyer again.
