    And you miss mine.

    Your birth certificate defines you.

    It can also be faked.

    Your Social Security ID is thus a fake.

    Your driving licence is thus a fake.

    Your passport is thus a fake.

    You are not who you say you are.

    At some point - someone has to trust something.

    If your birth certificate is enough... then her death certificate, will, and solicitor's word is enough.

    From what I've seen of the US coverage - she's being portrayed as some kind of saint-figure. If she'd had any sense she'd have kept out of sight, not written the book (and thus avoided the chat-show circuit) and let the media circus subside. Meanwhile, the real victims - the Kercher family - barely get a mention... it's all about "Foxy Knoxy" and how terrible it is for her.

    And, as ever, where the US leads the UK follows... the media have a lot to answer for.

    Now is it double jeopardy when there was a trial, an appeal, and an appeal to the appeal?
    Next, the appeal to the appeal to the appeal! One trial - not two - so no double jeopardy.

    If the roles had been reversed - the US would be busting a gut to get someone extradited. Two faced or what???

    a) on the grounds that they are never awarded posthumously in any case (there are cases where the award is offered, accepted, but the person dies before the ceremony where it is conferred);
    b) if I recall correctly - the title is lost at the moment of death as the person ceases to be a member of the order (though the public still, technically wrongly, use the title when referring to the person)
