have they considered that if its all online, than their competition needs no physical presence and why would anyone stick with them over some other entity. i think its no difference than insurance or retail, they will all cater to the highly valuable consumer by creating experience centers with champagne and espresso and the human touch and the rest can rot.
I always took an intuitive approach to physics, so a lot of current Physics/math is way to esoteric for me. Heck this octonion bit is way above my understanding... and that's when i want to understand it. it feels right... meh, i am not even qualified to make that statement but i always like the idea of an elegant universe.
I do agree that yes both sides should be funded, i think our capacity to intuit is largely dependent on a basic understanding. if the basis is complex enough intuitive leaps can be made beyond. but without the basic development our imaginations are limited too.
again this would perhaps mean that we have been looking in the wrong place for the answer. that is what makes this story interesting to me, perhaps a lot of science energy has been wasted on colliders as answers when wee havn't yet gotten to the right math.
all this is beyond me, however it seems that because something was harder(obtuse) it was ignored (mostly) even though it may actually had been the right path to understanding a unified theory. some things should be hard, which doesn't mean the application can't be simplified or made available/accessible. this has been a happy friday for me.
and now you understand marketing. if you let the product speak for yourself, you may end up with a informed consumer... and heck why would they buy anything.
i agree, the masses are happy with their mobile device cameras and those will get better. camera's as a separate entity is for the enthusiast and pro's. heck even Nikon admitted as much last year with their new "focus" on high end market.

SocialmediaSecurityAgency needs to be formed up mandated by congress. I am sure it will just as effective as TSA.
so the place that holds all the money can't make money... or is it another growth projection bullshit
perspective,
what FB lost in market cap could have built a fiber to each home and then some.

damn it, you just gave me nightmares of laplace transforms
and if that is proven true... that is an amazing feat in itself.

We're whalers on the Mars, we carry a harpoon. But there ain't no whales so we tell tall tales and sing a whaling tune"

yeah security is like totally Luddite
ummm no
especially when there are tools already available to segregate networks at application level.
unfortunately i will not be one of the 2 people that could maybe afford that lens...
