    Middle Mgmt - i was just following orders and relaying those orders to engineers
    Engineer - all i could do was what i was told, so i leaked the info as best i could.

    its inconvenient so nobody should be punished.

    i mean it has been highly recommended forever, since actual working knowledge of technology is a detriment to the level of management you can rise to, it seems race to the bottom has accelerated.

    India/Micorosoft windows 10 update/virus mishap
    North Korea... err ummm they did something that caused something because they are highly capable

    well its a start.
     

  10. oh no no, i said "claim" and when the insurance company (perhaps rightfully) doesn't pay because of negligence on insured's part... then it goes on the tax write off. so no harm done, except most employees got paid for 2 days to sit around.

  22. just describing my use case and for most people that use mobile device cameras. now the abuse of the product... well that's another thing altogether.

    when our lobbyists wrote the COPPA law for the lawmakers, they provided enough loop holes for us to continue to fuck with you. thus we know the material of the law better because we wrote it.

    now... if it comes to the "spirit" of the law... if any one cares that is, they might be fucked as well.
