  1. Automation is good! on Economists Worry We Aren't Prepared For the Fallout From Automation (theverge.com) · · Score: 2

Every time that someone whines about about automation, I think about excavators. Here is a machine that does the work of 100 or more men. Over the years these machines have taken the job of thousands of workers. The travesty!
Then there is also the average computer. These infernal machines have made hundreds of accountants jobless!
Also can you even imagine how many farm workers are out of jobs, because of what tractors can do? Ban these infernal machines

  2. Why did you start out with the asinine ass-cover and then bull ahead with something you thought could be bullshit that *was* bullshit?

Because I was not sure if I was right or wrong. So could you please tell me now why I am wrong?

  3. I may be wrong, but congressional intent is also worthless. If they intended something else, they should have written a better law. That's why the courts exist. They determine if the interpretation was correct or not. Congress may be law maker, but they are not law enforcers.

So you will volunteer to look trough hundreds of thousands videos to make sure they are appropriate for children? Youtube isn't a library where there are only a few thousand books to look trough.

  9. Re:Only applies to special purchases. on Apple Nixes iPad Giveaways · · Score: 1

Yes, but if the car washer is that NBA star, you can say that he is the one who is washing the cars. iPad is the name of the product, if you sell it, give it away or talk about it, how will you do it without mentioning the products name? Also according to your logic, you infringed upon Apples trademark, because you mentioned their name in your post to promote the point you made and so you profited from it.

So the Japanese should still be kept in camps, because that's history and it's important to preserve it?
