    And what of small businesses ? Medical practices ? Only the Enterprise Edition of Win10 gives any real control over security. Not controlling your own security will make things like, oh, HIPAA and PCI compliance problematical.

    Claiming security controls for the public is like handling firearms without training ? Well, there goes Linux as a replacement for Windows, by your argument. . .

    I had considered voting for the Libertarians at the top. A pity none were nominated.

    I did write in the Libertarian candidate for Congress in my district: I had a choice between the Stepford Congresswoman, hand-selected by the prior Congressman-for-Life, and the Real-Estate Mogul AND Ex-Democratic Congressman's wife who rented an apartment in my district so she could claim residency for the run. Despite retaining her regular house in the next district over, AND a luxury condo in DC.

    Both were just entirely too much shit to swallow, so I voted Libertarian for Congress. Actually, I'd been doing so for years already, considering the former Congressman-for-Life. . .

    The truth that nearly half (currently 47%) of the population of the United States are deep down a mix, of racist, sexist, hate-filled scumbags and uneducated morons too ignorant to see Trump for what he is.

    Do you KNOW anyone who voted for Trump ? Have you talked to any of them ? Chances are, they're a lot like me. Yes, I voted for Trump. I had the choice between a double-decker shit sandwich, and a regular shit sandwich. I chose less shit.

    But either way, I knew I was getting a shit sandwich. . .

    Here's an idea; drop the Statewide electors to 2, based on statewide returns. Allocate all other electors by returns in the congressional district. Thus, the electors vote by the will of their local people, and don't get overwhelmed by large cities. . .

    There is no linkage between the Palin advertising for "targeted districts" and the actual shooting. The shooter was reportedly obsessed with Ms. Gifford, and was diagnosed a paranoid schizophrenic, and was eventually sentenced to life in prison.

    Voting rolls show that Loughner was registered as an Independent, and acquaintances report that he had a long-established dislike for Giffords, and that he was apparently an enthusiast of conspiracy theories.

    He claimed to be an Unemployed African-American Lesbian CEO making 250 million a year. We all laughed.

    All humor aside, self-reported results raise the uncertainty on the data sufficient to (1) make it useable, and more importantly, (2) make it credible to one's employer when using the data as leverage in a salary negotiation. . . .

    That's the way it's SUPPOSED to work. I suspect, that in reality, not too many MPs will be replaced: they have similar incumbency to that of the US House: 8.7 years in Parliament vs 9.1 years in the House. . .

    Not just scammers, but ANY telemarketer. And ESPECIALLY "Rachel from Card Services" Have fun with them. The infamous Tom Mabe telemarketer stunt is but a suggestion of how to proceed. In my younger days, a housemate strung out a "vinyl windows and doors" guy for over 30 minutes. Serious fun can be had, messing with telemarketers. . .

    No one is saying that men and women are the same. When we talk about equality we're talking about neither being superior to the other.

    Not to quibble, but one IS superior to the other, depending on the function required. In general, male humans evolved for a higher peak load, whereas females evolved for a lower peak load, but better endurance, all other things being equal.

    Now if you're talking equality before the law, you are correct. However, on both a biological and purely physical level, you're incorrect. . .
