There are no hate speech laws that I know of, but if "hate speech" is added into a normal crime often times it becomes a "hate crime" with much worse sentencing and punishment. Apparently, it is worse to mug someone because you hate them, instead of just needing money and being nice about it.

Your mistake in this issue is assuming YouTube should be fair. It is not. This is not government censorship, more like a private club telling her not to say that in their clubhouse. This girl can say her opinion all she wants out in public. YouTube doesn't need to re-air it. They probably shouldn't leave death threats up, but that's the point of this entire article. It is unfeasible for YouTube to screen every video posted. If you don't like the death threat vids, report them.

If this renders commercials moot to the point that no one advertises on TV (free OTA or pay channels) the channels will charge even higher fees for cable and satellite companies to carry their channels. Then cable and satellite channels will no longer be subsidized by ads and will get more expensive.

You couldn't be more wrong. Some times renting is cheaper. If I need a U-Haul to move across town one time, it is definitely cheaper to rent one for the day instead of buying a U-Haul truck. The same is true with cars. If I go on vacation somewhere for 2 weeks, it is much cheaper to rent a car than to buy one for the time I'm there.

If you need to have the vehicle everyday, than yes, buying is probably cheaper. For infrequent usage, renting may just be the better option.

I've already read 2 other posts of people that did pirate the cam version and then went to go see the movie. Piracy has a lot of use cases. The only one that costs the content producers money is when a person was going to pay for the content, but pirated instead and decides that is all they need. What % of pirated copies falls into this use case is a big unknown. I have a feeling it isn't very high and a lot of pirates wouldn't have been paying customers like you said, but I don't believe that 100% of pirates would have never paid.
