    or we could just do away with centralised power production.and distribution and go back to mant more,small,local generators. er,am i going to be the first to mention small thorium reactors? a cluster round high level dumps could help.get rid of that problem,while others could be getting rid of low/mid level waste thst is ok to transport safely. we use most power localy,it makes more sense to produce power localy than it does to centralise. small nuclear power stations are much cheaper to build,dont need to be sited right next to sea/lake and could feed waste direct to thorium reactors nearby,helping solve two problems at once.

    if they were decent farmers they would not have a problem with the heat,use it for something, i feed my warmed,cleaned air from mine (very small) into my flat and now have under-floor heating and warm air heating,all controlable from anywhere with with internet/mobile coverage. i pay full cost of my electricity,no mucking about with meters etc and same unit also helps make some cash to pay for itself by having orchids etc in room as well and produce good stock early or out of season so sellable at premium prices,also fresh herbs and salad veg as well as my weed. kind of thing that would be much simpler,easier and safer if folk could self-produce,i only ever grow 6 plants,3 each for myself and partner.we have not had to do any buying of weed for years now,so no cash to criminals,we smoke all we grow,so no dealing,probably the only cash i have made for criminals are the ones who use hydro bit shops as fronts for their farms etc and i have bought lamps,feed etc from. legalise self production (3 plants per person) and that would probably do away with 50/75% of the criminality involved. if legalised,look at the amount of tax they are raiseing in usa + extra taxable profits for energy use and less theft also less house fires (mine is regularaly checked by

    ex cons are a very rare breed.it usualy means that they managed to get away with enough cash to last a decent amount of time or they fell in with a women who keeps them straight. most prisoners do repeat sentences time after time. they dont learn or in my experience cannot be arsed,they find it hard work trying to actualy think. why do you think that in prisons that offer education schemes the uptake is so low and that of those who start very few complete them and when they do,in comparison with outsiders figures,prisoners do badly on average marks and passes. remembering that there is always a very small number of people in prison who will use every oppurtunity to educate themselves.

    most folks older than mid twenties have more like 80/100-2-15 khz. 20-20 is usualy found in the young or those tha have trained their ears and hearing. when young,i could consistently detect 4-6 hz -24-27khz.by 17 that was back to 15hz -21k. by age 26.25h -20khz (compressed air jack hammers and heavy metal gigs did my hearing no good. at age 53.40/90h - 14/17 khz. (two stroke strimmers and agricultural kit did not help) most folk measure lower than they would expect. but is very variable anyway,just likes eyes.

    i am in exactly the same position as one of those mentioned in article,i have two vertebrea destroyed in my lower spine that are affecting nerves and blood supply to left leg and surgery has failed,i also have necrotic arthritis in left knee and hip which is also affecting my right leg now as well,i have older injuries that are starting to fail and although i have attended three seperate pain control clinics i am still having to take codeine phosphate by the handful,i have now been taking codeine for nearly 20 years and can handle silly amounts because my body likes opiates and converts codeine very well,but dose is now three times what it was and some medical folk are getting stroppy about prescribing me the amount i need 200x30mg per week,itwould be nice to have something to go onto instead,if only for short periods.
