Actually, there is a working teleporter. It can only teleport photons and such, but it does work. If you believe that energy and matter are interchangeable, which everyone does, then you've just convinced yourself that transporters are possible, more or less.

Actually, the majority of the science in Star Trek is based heavily on actual theories and practices. For pretty much every piece of technology that has ever been the show save for things relating to dieties and fantasy, someone somewhere has a viable theory as to making something like that work.
And the funny thing, I know all that while at the same time really not like the show at all.
Yeah, I told some girl on aim I was hitting the mall real quick to pick up something at EB. She said she had never been to this mall and had no idea where it was. 20 minutes later, I walk into EB and she was inside. I broke the fuck out back to my car as fast as my legs would carry me, much to the protest of my friend who promised to get squirrelly if the situation required it. Are you that girl? Cuz when I was 15 that kind of shit was flattering, now it's just scary.
I was implying anime cartoon series, not American cartoon series. The latter owned and still owns. Cowboy Bebop isn't shit compared to anything from my childhood. I'll take one episode of Thundercats over any damn cartoon CN will ever air.
I personally find most "chat" boring and don't see the point of it. People obviously use it though, so I guess I just missed the point
I use it because the phone sucks, and even if I did enjoy using the phone, most of the people I talk to on aim are boring as hell on the phone. People just naturally seem better able to communicate when you can't hear their pauses, sighs, and hums.

You're either a troll or brain dead, 2 options I'd rather not have to choose from. And for those that do like Hentai, how does that translate into pedophilia? I'm pretty damn fond of anime, but no TV series has ever done it for me and most just down right piss me off(Dragonball Z, or anything with big eye'd overly-cartoonish characters). If I need a fix, I'll throw in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, which is my new favorite, even above Ghost in the Shell or Akira.
