Roughly similar to how Republicans use fundementalist Christians.
I hate to change the subject but I was talking to my girlfriend about this yesterday. I don't think you have it the right way around. I think the Christian Dominionists are hitching themselves to the greediest citizens that generally care the least about civil liberties, especially if they are getting rich off of their loss (I'm looking at you prison industry). That group just happens to be your average crony-type Republican at this point in time.
Or, to perhaps put it another way... was the discovery of aspirin inevitable, even if it happened 5 years later on humanity's knowledge curve, at much lower cost?
I think that may be a bad example. Asprin was eventually derived from plants, willow & spiraea, and I think something naturally occurring would be something more readily discovered than something less obvious like an ion thruster.
My original preference would have been for a physical disk jukebox approach but that tech never really developed in a sophisticated and affordable form.
Which is weird because I have a 300 disc CD player right beside me. I wonder if the MAFIAA had anything to do with a lack of 300 disc DVD players?
More people in jail just means bankrupting the justice system that much quicker. Jails can only legally hold so many bodies. I'm pretty sure you can't hold people awaiting trial with convicted felons in a prison. Even that would just be a temporary solution.
They've been working on the MMO since 2007 & I doubt they had devs working on both games (& Skyrim's soon to be released DLC) at once.
Bethesda isn't making this.
Wasn't WH 40k getting single player & MMO games at the same time?
If graphics aren't an issue, everything you described can be done with Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2 & the cost of running or renting the server.
Didn't they try this like a decade ago with knock-off 586 chips?
"always-open backdoor for the Chinese intelligence agencies"
Our spooks would probably love that. It wouldn't stay Chinese-only for very long.
Now that's what I call a loving god!
Every motherfucker involved with the TSA needs to be flayed alive & dipped in vinegar.
Ok then, who gets all the money for the licensed merchandise that you see everyone wearing around here?
Me too. Because there isn't a Publix in my town.
I personally am really looking forward to see what comes out of the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter.
Zimmerman literally broke every single rule of his neighborhood watch association on the day he murdered Trayvon.
He was with his father visiting his father's fiance who lived in the community. He had every legal right to be where he was.
Do you mean Bob Evans?
...and shoot the lot of them. Problem solved.

Anonymous is much, much more likely to start framing politicians & police officers.
Soooo basically I give up my 4th amendment rights simply because I live in a town within 100 miles of the border? Total crock of shit.....
Didn't you know? Most of the US lives in the Constitution-Free Zone.

There is no point where speeding only a little or for a purpose is legal.
Other than Florida where 5 mph over is A-OK at any time on any road that isn't under construction. It's a warning & is never, ever enforced.
Yeah, I bought the whole stereo setup used from a friend that was moving to Colorado via a single car. :D

But the vice & victimless crimes are the masses taking the plea-bargains. Nearly everyone would have to be in on this for it to work.
Unless your friends want to work for free, it won't matter.

This. I cracked mine & mostly use it to play PS1 games.
