    They've been working on the MMO since 2007 & I doubt they had devs working on both games (& Skyrim's soon to be released DLC) at once.

    If graphics aren't an issue, everything you described can be done with Neverwinter Nights 1 or 2 & the cost of running or renting the server.

    I hate to change the subject but I was talking to my girlfriend about this yesterday. I don't think you have it the right way around. I think the Christian Dominionists are hitching themselves to the greediest citizens that generally care the least about civil liberties, especially if they are getting rich off of their loss (I'm looking at you prison industry). That group just happens to be your average crony-type Republican at this point in time.

    Or, to perhaps put it another way... was the discovery of aspirin inevitable, even if it happened 5 years later on humanity's knowledge curve, at much lower cost?

    I think that may be a bad example. Asprin was eventually derived from plants, willow & spiraea, and I think something naturally occurring would be something more readily discovered than something less obvious like an ion thruster.

    There is no point where speeding only a little or for a purpose is legal.

    Other than Florida where 5 mph over is A-OK at any time on any road that isn't under construction. It's a warning & is never, ever enforced.

    My original preference would have been for a physical disk jukebox approach but that tech never really developed in a sophisticated and affordable form.

    Which is weird because I have a 300 disc CD player right beside me. I wonder if the MAFIAA had anything to do with a lack of 300 disc DVD players?

    More people in jail just means bankrupting the justice system that much quicker. Jails can only legally hold so many bodies. I'm pretty sure you can't hold people awaiting trial with convicted felons in a prison. Even that would just be a temporary solution.
