May be you just have not tried to keep your information personal.

xSeries is better in single/one off processes, like a web page request, or finding the Lat/Long of Address, where all the information is fresh look up each time. So scaling by adding processors makes scents.
iSeries is better in bulk processing, like adding billions of records, searching billions of records, generating large complex reports. Here scaling of 64 processes, IO channels and having 2 TerraBytes of main memory makes it move!
Then add in a company like TALX [http://www.talx.com/] that will publish your SSN and Bank Numbers in the name of cheaper payroll advices. Yes it saves money to our company, but did do mean to have all the information of employees of America's top 500 companies in one location with poor passwords??

We all could see in the computer room though the big glass window as the equipment started to hardfail.
2) At another company, once the power fails, all doors are opened and blocked with a chair to allow employees and anyone else though. All the video cameras are offline along with every switch. It would have been better just to clear the building and send everyone home.
