The chips for the TDI's are great. You could also go with a tuning box instead...they are supposed to be good as well..huge debate over which is better
That sounds optimistic, but could be true. It will definetly have lots of torque. And the mileage should be about the same...just wait till he has to replace his clutch though...that will be more the $350;) I definetly love the torque on these cars. The fact that it has so much low end makes it a pleasure to drive too
For what it's worth... TDIclub has great resources for modding TDI's (again, VW specific). Lots of really useful information on that, and not too many posers. Of course, you have to understand that you are trying to mod a 90 HP car that sounds like a tractor...not really cool with the in-crowd. But it takes a special person to "get" a diesel, and you can actually get some pretty descent performance out of it at the same time.
It would discourage me from blowing through red lights. It wouldn't stop me from blowing through lights 2-10, but when I got those tickets, I don't think I would ever do it again.
Well, I would consider my parents very competent, but I know as a kid, I managed to do lost of things without their knowledge. I am sure most kids do, in fact, if they didn't, I would consider them quite dull children. You can't watch them all of the time. Not all of society is being dragged down to a childs level...just the children are being dragged to their own level. Or did you completely miss that part of the article? We are not forcing the kid to do something, rather restricting them from doing something. It may be small, but there is a fundamental difference here.
That is also a good way to not teach them the value of money. Part of teaching them how money works is to give them some, and let them decide how to get the things they want, rather then just buying them the things they need.
Yes, I am the assumptive moron, yet you are the one who made the bold statement they should be able to pay for any game they want if they earned the money, and didn't get it for doing nothing. Do I have to point out how asinine that plan was? How is it supposed to be determined if the money was earned or not. I used the hyperbole to point out just how riduclous that statement was. There would be no way no to know where the money actually came from. If the game is too mature for the child, the comimittee has decided to make it harder for that child to get the game. They have not made it unpossible. A parent can still decide they disagree with the rating, it is just that the child will need to get them to help obtain it.
Isn't this a tool for the parents to use? If they think it's acceptable for their kid to have GTA3, they can pick it up for the kid. If they don't, it's just that much harder for the kid to get it.
So, under your plan, is the store supposed to ask for the Income Tax form, to prove that the money they are using is from a job, and not from allowance? There is no reason that this will make kids grow up in a black box. It just helps the parents control their kids a little better
Actually, I haven't seen any marketing for this, but I like it. What is cool is highly subjective, and just because you don't get it, doesn't mean other people won't
I shouldn't even bother responding to an AC but... Maybe he isn't on par with many of the others, when it comes to technical talent, but to say he was just lucky to create Microsoft is a bit of an understatement. Of course being in the right place at the right time is always good for business, but Microsoft has done it over and over, and nobody on earth is that lucky. Was it just luck that everyone used MS-DOS? Was it luck that they switched to windows instead of OS/2? Was it luck that they switched from Wordpefect to Word? Was it luck that people switched from Netscape to Explorer? To say that these changes happened because of technical superiority would be folly, but it is surely not luck. Bill Gates was very good at business, and that's why Microsoft is doing so well. You might not like his tactics, I know I don't, but they really worked.
I do have digital TV, and I do get the odd intereference, but it is so rare as to actually complain about. It's easy to accept that, for the much higher picture quality. As for channel surfing, you can't do it the same, but you can usually surf through the guide, and see what's on that way. I find it more efficient, since you don't have to wait and see what show it is. You can even check out the info to see if it's a good episode.

You got told by someone who hasn't even been out of there mom's basement in the last 15 years!
I thought that the one-sided part was that it was done at Western...of course they would do anything to prove beer good! Of course, the fact that Labatt's is in London (where Western is) was the second thing that popped into my head
I tried it. Thought the concept was really interesting. I even liked some of the innovations, like the gesture based actions. I did find it got pretty boring. It just lagged on forever and ever.
And Fark would be a bunch of guys says "I'd hit that" or being pissed off that she has fake boobs

It was the original poster who implied that allowance was not earned money.

I did mean the guide on the TV...it's definetly they easiest way to do things

It has been shown that thinking and hapiness are inversly proportional. I tend to agree, but then by this theory I should be miserable

Dell PC's use Intel Pentium 4 processors. It's in their ads. I have been brainwashed
