But most accidents, at least here, are caused by old people.

I've seen a man over 70 who had to physically lift his leg off the accelerator pedal and put it on the brake. To make matters worse, he was driving a gigantic Cadillac El Dorado. The man could barely see, and that's bad enough, but he could barely physically drive. Technology here isn't the answer, public transportation is.

Thank you Activision. I've bought a hell of a lot of your games. So, I'm a lifelong customer.
The guy who ripped those games, cracked them, and uploaded them infringed your copyrights. I'm glad you're suing him. Because if no one uploads your copyrighted materials, then obviously no one can download them. This actually makes sense. I'm not saying that downloading is wrong, it isn't. But I am saying that uploading is wrong and illegal. I'm glad you're suing the guy responsible.

The RIAAfia and the MPAAfia could learn a lot from you. You already know the source of piracy lies mostly in your supply chain. There are the few occasional pirates who rip, crack, and upload your products after retail, but that number is staggeringly small. Instead of launching a campaign against the people who actually buy your products, you're just suing the individuals responsible for infringement. This makes sense and can bring the most return. There is no risk of backlash from your customers. And you send the appropriate message, which in this case, is don't upload our games.

well, let them go home if they're not going to offer service like a big boy does. This is the Internet we're talking about. INTER being the key word. They're not being progressive here. They're being very regressive. Comcast wants to be the sole content provider to their subscribers like AOL did back in the 90's. Until AOL subscribers discovered the actual Internet.

This is what Comcast wants. They want their users to use their services. This is purely anti-competitive behavior. I say, if Comcast doesn't want to provide true undiscriminatory Internet access, get out of the damn business. They're already screwing their customers. Deregulation has allowed Comcast to act like this.

True competition would allow me to jump to an ISP who would provide the same level of service at the same cost without these BS tactics to force me to use their content.

Unfortunately, there's no other ISP here who provides cable. And no DSL providers want to provide me DSL despite having fibre to the curb. Since AT&T hasn't disclosed that I have fibre to the curb. Speakeasy thinks I can't only get 144k IDSL. AT&T knows I can get 100Mbit if they offered it. Comcast just wants me to stop using the service altogether. I hope the FCC really drops the hammer on these anti-competitive greedy bastards.

This is part of the reason why I don't play mmo games. I'm not paying for content that should be in the game, and I'm not paying to play.

I forsaw this years ago when I first heard about DLC. This is an unethical attempt to rob their customers by nickel and diming them for content that is already on their disc but cannot be used due to this shit.

I hope they get sued for putting the Day One DLC on the disc. Simple explanation is, I've paid for this game and I can't use the stuff on the disc because EA is charging ransom for it.

Obama was granted higher marks on everything except international trade which is not surprising, but still dramatically skews the results due to that issue's importance to the economy overall. One could argue that international trade has the lion's share of effect on the gdp, but I'm not convinced the economists were taking into account exports.

Obama's platform for international trade is to import less and export more. I would say that's effectively going to bolster our economy by boosting our gdp in the long run. But can he actually pull it off? The desired effect could take a few years to reach our gdp.
