It shouldn't be much of a problem to use an ethernet connection over phone wire--if I remember correctly, only four of the eight wires in an ethernet cable are used.
I haven't noticed a difference between nightlies and milestones in terms of stability, and I'd definitely be using nightlies if getmoz was ever updated. It's too much of a pain to install a new version of Mozilla every day in Linux.

The biggest feature I've found it "Type Ahead Find". I start typing the text of a link when on a webpage, and it takes me to that link. It's still a little buggy, but not too bad.
Also, I find the new features that keep coming in MultiZilla to be worth much better than those introduced by Mozilla.
Well, Red Hat was going to put the isos up in a week. The fact that I had them three days earlier doesn't make me feel bad. I'll try to find somewhere to download Libranet, and if I like it, I'll pay for a copy.
If you can think of a way for them to GPL Click-'n-Run and still get $99 a year from people who use it, then please SUGGEST that.
Easy--when you pay for Click-N-Run, you get a username and password. You use said username and password when starting up Click-N-Run. Limit each account to accessing Click-N-Run to one computer for a period of a month or so.
I definitely find KDE a helluva lot better than the Windows GUI. I've used Gnome a little, just to decide which DE I wanted to stick with, and Gnome was also much better than Windows. I just can't live with only one desktop anymore.

Open Office does not do all the things Microsoft Office XP does. However, Open Office fits in a 10th of the space and has every feature I'll ever need.
And their anti-piracy measures don't work. I'm downloading FP and Publisher XP now, and I've cracked Office XP Trial!
Are you proud of yourself for pirating software? Personally, I don't pirate software--there's generally a better (or at least acceptable) open source alternative. That said, I hope Microsoft keeps with the "product activation" and makes it harder and harder to crack their software, so that people like you will be forced to actually pay for MS Office, or go with a free alternative.

He doesn't seem to want to kill it, he just wants to have it take up less bandwidth.

Cool.
I'm in Columbus too, and also at OSU. Is there a "Half-Priced Books" near campus?

Also, you could use the exact same article title and say "sendmail" instead of "microsoft", and have it be fairly accurate.
The Seventh Amendment certainly does:

I'm not from one of the affected colleges, but the internal filesharing network at my college has been temporarily shut down.
This person ran the network on which that many songs were shared. That is, shared BY OTHER PEOPLE. Fuck the RIAA.
Could you possibly put me in contact with the people who ran this? I help run one of these networks, but we've temporarily shut down.
Well, I can delete Internet Explorer in XP by booting into 2000 and deleting it, and delete it in 2000 by booting to XP and deleting it.
That said, how does one know it's not a trojan?
How would it not help with overseas spammers? Doesn't the US claim jurisdiction over the whole world?
Try this:
/boot/grub/grub.conf
$ su
$ emacs
Fairly easy to figure out how it works from there.
