    huh?! He bought pixar on a whim, and basically was the money tree for it. You should read up on pixar's early years. After NeXT failed, Jobs showed up regularly at Pixar, to "manage" it. The team then started holding offsite weekly meetings to avoid his "management".

    WTF is wrong with you people?! Apple's iOS and OSX *CAME FROM THE SAME FUCKING SOURCE*

    Additionally, Apple has been Open Sourcing various components, and using Open Source components as those become available. Things like dtrace, etc. Darwin is open source. The kernel itself is open source. Grand Central is open source. Safari/WebKit came from KDE and they made so many improvements to it that KDE *TOOK APPLE'S VERSION IN AND REPLACED THEIR OWN WITH WEBKIT* All the smartphones except for Winblows use a version of webkit.

    uh, no, I distinctly remember judgements that Muhammad passed that had two separate parts - one for muslims, and one for non-muslims, and his reason was that some of the religious parts of the shariah law does not apply to non-muslims (things like not fasting, eating pork, etc).

    I like how people who have no idea how technology works blames the wrong people. How the hell is Mozilla/Firefox supposed to protect against Microsoft who owns the Operating System they run on? Whatever mechanisms Mozilla put in place, Microsoft can bypass, because, well, they own the Operating System!

    Remember, Microsoft *bypassed* the standard Firefox mechanism in the first place!

    Errr, NTFS is just VMS fs re-implemented. Back when nt first came out, friends went to the disk level to look at things, and reported back that it looked almost exactly like what VMS had...

    You do realize the guy who wrote NT, Dave Cutler, was the head programmer for DEC on VMS right?
