Permissions would be a problem if you put all your data on an ext3 disk under Windows, too. The on-disk and network permissions are closely related, I think.
How could you trust the message being from you? Current encryption might be broken in the future, and someone could pretend to be you, telling you to kill off people.
I wouldn't be surprised if the devs actually have an internal Linux client. They do have Sam Lantinga on board, the creator of SDL, and it's not unlikely that they use some variant of it for the Mac port already. Then there's the mysterious API function for checking if the system is running on Linux:)
It works if you have a little gadget that generates you a new PIN every time, like we do over here. But then getting random digits instead of the whole PIN makes no difference:)
Speak for yourself. When my phone rings, I look closely at the calling number before I *consider* picking it up. Time of day, mood, whether I'm in a noisy place or playing a game are all factors. Plus my hate for the caller, of course:)
Xara Xtreme (formerly LX) is getting tons of features with each release. You could have a look at that for your vector drawing needs: http://www.xaraxtreme.org/
Windows takes too long for me to bother measuring it, and Ubuntu takes about 20 seconds from power on to login, and another 5-10 seconds to desktop. This is on a harddrive that doesn't really want to go at its full UDMA speed.
There are three degrees of nastiness in Windows XP. The regular home/pro editions will allow a lot of switching of hardware. The VLK versions might complain after some changes. The OEM versions are the most annoying; you buy a Dell, you're stuck with it. Adding a drive *might* slip through, but do it twice, and it's REPORT FOR RE-NEDUCATION!
Lots of IT businesses in Scandinavia have a large number of foreign workers that the written and spoken language at work IS English. The neighbouring country (Norway), where I'm stuck, is about the same in most things, but reportedly has lower taxes. We've got Opera as one example of a realtively big international business, and IT workers in general speak English fairly well.
The tax thing in Sweden isn't too bad once you're on Swedish wages, anyway. Food's cheaper over there than here, which is why you see flocks of Norwegians hoarding food at the border cities:) Getting a place to live is much cheaper in Sweden than Norway, too. I know several Norwegians who've moved or are thinking of moving there.
The US isn't worth visiting. Fellow countrymen have been stopped from entering for no reason at all, other than not being American. People have had vacations ruined because someone at the airport decided "Norway is a terr'ist country", or something.
>My version did not have lots of bookmarks to free pr0n sites or anything else that would >make finding it easier than using Google with any other browser.
Opera has a bunch of neat shortcuts to go back and forth in galleries, intelligently guessing what the next image is, or so I've heard. I don't use it, since all my lesbian fetish porn is downloaded in movie form.
23MB could be a lot of text, AI code and other goodness. Damn kids. They want graphics. Big textures. Complicated 3D models. Not a long-lasting gaming experience, because their attention spans can't handle it.
>The problem comes in because 'pod' can be derived from both iPod and podcast. But both those words are derived from 'pod'. Who has the copyright on 'pod' alone? Don Siegel? (See http://imdb.com/name/nm0796923/)
Just like hardlinks?

I consider Mutt the Pine replacement.

Masturbation is more fun than waiting in line for days to get a piece of hardware.
Thanks for the idea! I know what I'll do for the rest of the year!
You're half-right; it will be the oldest supported card.
I seem to get weekly modpoints. Be afraid..be very afraid!

There must be a library missing or something in your OS. Krita opens any common format just
fine here.
You can use Outpost (firewall+spyware protection)m or Norman (all that and good antivirus).

If you read it out loud, yes.
