The truth is that this was possible because of the policy put in place by former President Clinton. During his terms in office he greatly weakened the military, NSA, CIA and FBI. If these great institutions would have been allowed to remain strong it is possible that President Bush would not be forced to deal with this crises.
Take a look at MilesTek they have a large selection of rack mounted stuff. I don't know if they carry cases but they have a large amount of other stuff.
The problem with not running something like junkbusters is the tracking of your online viewing habits. How many/. readers also read sites that they would not like others to know they read? Junkbusters isn't just about getting rid of banner ads. Like you said who even notices the banner ads. For me it is about keeping the likes of double click from tracking my travels through the internet.
Just what is wrong with posting something on/. for the geek factor? After all/. is News for Nerds. Many of us like reading about the geeky things like running Linux on some new hardware.
This afternoon I went to our locak Circuit City to bye four I-Openers. When I told the sales man that I wanted to bye four he told me that he could not sale them to me. I find this kind of questionable. His reason was that they had received an email about this or something. Needless to say Circuit City will not be getting any buisness from me.
My question is how long will it be before the NSA wants keys to the encryption used by the PSX2? Will they be demanding that importing of the PSX2 be made illegal?
GENERAL LAWS OF MASSACHUSETTS Chapter 266: Section 49. Burglarious instruments; making; possession; use.
This law seems so vague that almost anything could be considered. A hacksaw can be used to cut steel so you could cut through a padlock that is keeping a door closed. Does this mean possession of a hacksaw illegal in Massachusetts? If I am reading this law right it could be. Something has to be done about all the vague laws that are being passed.
Here at Cornell University we pay over $80 a semester for access to the Campus Network
If you are actually paying a fee to access the campus network then they are acting as your ISP and should have no rights to tell you how to use your connection. If the fee is actually a technology fee then things change, because you are paying a fee to help pay for the technology on campus and not for internet service.
I find it funny that the areas RedHat was marked down in were objective parts of the evaluation. Microsoft scored better than RedHat on security, stability, install and docs. They admit that they didn't test security so that should be removed from the score. Everytime I have purchased a copy of Windows NT it has come with next to no documentation. The deluxe version of RedHat comes with more documentation. They don't talk about stability in the article either. It looks like they used a large number of objective scores to tilt the results to what they wanted.
You're also forgetting that the public library is there to serve all the citizens of the community. Some members of the community may not be able to afford a computer or access to the internet. Should the their access to information some people find objectionable be limited? What makes them any less important that those who can afford a computer and internet access?
For the/. readers who live in the state of Texas let Govener Bush know how you feel about his attempts to shutdown this site at Govener Bush's web site.
Another thing to keep in mind is that most of the RBOC also offer internet access themselves. This is just one more way for them to force the local ISP's out of business.
I think you have the right idea, how about everyone who reads/. call Scott Berinato and ask him a list of questions. I bet he would get tired of it after a few calls.

First two mistakes I made in my first post. It should be 362534400 hits/day, and 3 million pages serverd per day.

Another question to ask about this test is how many sites handle 36253440 hits/day? Even CNN says that they only handle about 3 million hits on a normal day.
You're right about juries. A lawyer will always try to find jury members who have no opinions about anything. I tend to believe that anyone has the ability to think will have opinions on lots of things. O.J. got off because Marcia Clark did a crappy job. The jury made the right decision for the information they were given.
It sounds like this cop was very anti-internet and was out to punish anyone who used the Internet. I would have to consider his attitude the same as saying, "Well you had sex with your husband so your sex crazed so you were not raped by this guy." This detective should be removed from the force for his actions in this case. He took the rape victim and made her a victim a second time.
While I enjoyed Futurama. Did Matt Groening need to shove the social commentary down our throats? I found it ironic that suicide booths played an important part of the first episode while Jack Kevorkian was convicted of second-degree murder the day before. I personally hope that Matt isn't promoting suicide as a solution to life's problems. While it looks like the series could be a huge success I hope Matt Groening will leave the social commentary out of future episodes or at least try not to shove them down our throats.
I still don't know what so many people are upset about Katz posting his editorials on/. While what he posts doesn't contain the very latest technical information it is easy to read. Hopefully some of what Katz writes causes you to think about how technology effects the nontechnical members of society at large. My mother has just found IRC in the last couple weeks to her this is a great new thing. Most of the readers of/. have already used and forgotten about IRC long ago. These are the people we need to remember when we think about technology.
Iwas just over a year ago /. had another article just like this about a guy who built a 747 cockpit.

With the new Star Wars movie coming out in two weeks it will be a short lived record.

ToiletDuk You may have the largest technical skillset but that is only one part of the complete skillset needed by an employee.
