    go on, have fun suing the record company, artist, record store and anyone else included in the supply chain for selling crippled cds, because they ARE breaking the fair use laws, and betting on you not suing, so, what will it be? silence and nothing done? or lawyers and a cuouple million in compensation for you?

    Id like to see my favourite artist testifying on court about this! 8)

    well thats the beauty of it, more people using soffice means more people who later find out that there is a version for Linux, and eventually play with a linux version and more people liking it and keeping linux, this is a win-win situation for OS ...people will actually get to choose 8)

    Instead of making parallell networks, they can simply user parallell servers with the linux terminal server project, if a server dies, the other one will take over operations 8)

    But you are missing a very good point here, any company may do anything to manipulate as much as it can, but the truth of the matter is that we all have choices, and once palladiums are on the market, I will choose a chinese-wireless-palladium free multiple-teraflop mobile pc with built in everything and online-self-upgrading-Linux server!     TCPIP, POSIX, SMB, there are millions of standards that Linux and @BSD had to meet just to be considered as part of the list for viable options (OSes), so thanks to them Microsoft will become "Just nother option" to do the same old thing, and thanks to open source, IBM (and many other company) is just another option, as a Linux vendor.
