    NEC's proton polymer battery, however, offers a power density of 1,000W/kg and a weight energy density of 10-20Wh/kg - a reasonable combination of power density and weight energy density. Performance is roughly midway between existing double-layer capacitors and batteries.

    Why *g*libc? Gnu has nothing to do with that.
    Any conforming C library (including glibc or MS) has this limitation.
    C programmers will one day be as valuable as Fortran programmers in late 1999...

    Well, it used to be some RedHat with goodies.
    It's not true today.

    Their web page says Mandrake Linux is compatible with RedHat (because it uses RPMs and has mostly the same directory structure), but no more RedHat based.

    Ok, but I think you'll need a frequency generator. As far as I know (ie: next to nothing), the audio in samples the signal. I don't know if you can supply a constant input.
    An anlog joystick, on the contrary is nothing more than tow variable resistors (one for each axe) and a stick to turn them.

    It's an analog input. No need for an A/D convertor.

    I saw an advertising where a couple had a flat TV installed to the ceiling over their bed. I wonder how the TV was getting the necessary juice and antenna.
