I use rsync to a zfs file system. A couple of cron jobs to fire off rsync and do zfs snapshots makes for a nice TimeMachine-like solution without TimeMachine.
I made this point in an earlier thread. The defense new that they didn't have time to put together a proper defense. They knew they had several valid reasons for an appeal so let the case tank while they worked on their longer range goals.
My theory is that the attorneys really needed more time to prep for the case. Knowing full well (or praying) that this verdict will also be set aside gives them several months to get more completely prepared for a third trial.

"Over the summer, flight doctors will analyze the data to ensure it does not make astronauts too queasy."
They're testing a the system for it's performance during an aborted launch and they're worried about the astronauts getting too queasy? If they have to abort a real launch, you would think that a couple of astronauts chucking would be the least of their worries. Survivability I understand, but this is not a theme park ride we're talking about here.
> In many states, refusal to take a breathalyzer test is legally presumed an admission of guilt.
Refuse the breathalyzer and tell them you want a blood test instead. That removes a major piece of questionable technology from the process and gives your attorney other better known avenues to question the evidence or evidence gathering process. Also, it's not always easy for them to get a tech to do the work at 3am.
I know there are people like myself who purchase games, don't install them, but do install a downloaded copy that has the DRM restrictions removed. This may or may not be viable with Steam-related DRM, but I'm anti-social enough that online multiplayer doesn't really hold a whole lot of appeal for me. And if I did decide that I absolutely had to play something online, I setup an account just for that game so that I could resell my original copy (with the account info) when I was finished with it.
Going from 32bit to 64bit is _huge_ in the Photoshop world. If I install any version of Vista64 (or Wine64) it will be specifically to run Photoshop CS4 to work with large images efficiently.
XML is sort of like violence. If it doesn't work, just use more of it.
FTFY.

An story is not official/real until it has a dupe. More dupes means more 'real'.
Look at how well it worked for Chef on Southpark.
The professor had to expect something like this. It's like playing chess. He'll respond with his next move, etc...
It's interesting to watch this and the Camara case unfold. Much better than 'Lost' or Reality TV because the results actually do effect me.

Let me guess. You just got done watch 'Being There' again, right?

The next three releases are apparently Toy Story 1 & 2 (in 3D) and 3.
That's more than enough for me.
Finally, we have a good reason to 'think of the children!'.
A better name might have been 'wikipediasux.org' or something similar. No confusion, then, that it's another Wikipedia site.

Yet another successful American export.
> What, like Windows does?
No, like a Mac does!
This was not the link I was anticipating.

> As usual, we're a bit behind the times.
Normally, I would hear this from somebody from Mississippi, not New Hampshire.
The old AOL needs to come back to life. It would be perfect for people that want an interweb that is safe for business and/or safe for kids.
I remember seeing this problem long before video games.
Blindness and hairy palms were secondary symptoms.
Post the blacklist so we can independently verify that they have not made any mistakes!

Where are people getting 22mbps over cable? Or is it fiber?
And why do your parents need that kind of bandwidth? Email? Web Browsing? YouTube? Torrent Seeding?
And if the extra 256MB keeps XP from paging, it may get you close to 2x.
Logitech S 530 Mac. Three mouse buttons (plus the extra configurable ones) as the godz intended.
The no-button mouse from Apple is a close second.
