Bingo. It shouldn't come as a surprise for them. Or perhaps they should hire someone who has been in the business for some time. I feel like it is almost common knowledge.:)
I just got a new iMac with maxed out configuration and 4GB video memory. So I can run everything at 2560x1440 with all graphics at full/ultra. A great computer although I think that the Fusion drive could benefit from PCIE SSD larger than 120GB when the SATA is 3TB.
- Civ 5, which is good fun but I rarely has the time. - I liked the original Bioshock so I am playing Bioshock Infinite. It is ok. - The new Tomb Raider but I kinda hate it since it seems to spend more time with story telling than actual gameplay.
I am hoping for a new Fallout game soon but I don't think it will be released for OS X and I am not going to buy and install Windows for just one game, although it is my all time favorite game.
We had complex installations of Linux servers that were so old that patching them often required a lot of work to be able to compile the fixes. After a steady flow of layoffs and cut downs, I was no longer able to keep up with even just the maintenance tasks and the list of critical things that needed fixes grew longer. And forget about trying to find time to do proactive things like planning new systems or capacity planning, since I now had to do everything myself. So I had informed my bosses of the problems, even had it in writing although I hate that CMA crap. But I ended up quitting because even though a hacked web server would not be my fault, I just could not sleep well at night.
Of course then there also was the problem with the rest of the company growing tired of the lack of progress and quality of the IT department. They quickly forgot that the staff had been reduced to half and still expected the same service they got earlier on even though the official word was that everyone would be understanding that we didn't have time to do as much as we used to.
They offered me a raise if I stayed but it was really not about the money but about my health.
Norway (and Denmark iirc) have plans on laying down more (sea) cables to Germany so I guess this link in reality would connect southern Germany to Norway. The countries are already trading energy and I would guess they would need this as a mini super grid to make a larger percentage of the energy renewable.
Bonus nerd info. Heres a link to a almost live view of the input and output of electricity and natural gas from Denmark: http://www.energinet.dk/Flash/...
Those hard-core liberals, lesbian activists, and diehard modern hippies young and old. [turns around and sighs] I swore I would never set foot in San Francisco. God help me.
I would have suggested that the people of East Buchanan got together and created their own service. But when looking at this phone company it says East Buchanan Telephone Cooperative. So it is owned the "customers", right? They should be able to change this then.
I don't understand why people would want to watch other peoples mediocre gaming skills. "Look at me as a play a level in some generic shooter". zzzz There are a few exceptions where I want to see the graphics, maybe to checkout the gameplay or a hint/guide/learn from someone. But let's face it 99% of the gameplay videos out there are just filling hard drives with useless pixels.
And I don't get what makes people think you would want to watch them do something as ordinary as playing a game?
I agree. I use my gps every day and use cruise control quite often. It is very clear that the software does not take into account changes in elevation.
That is so fucked up.
Smells like socialism.
Bingo. :)

I noticed that but I don't pay for the live part so I figured it was only non-subscribers that got those.

transexual Nazi Eskimos are frowned upon.
A mentally disturbed person does something stupid and it matters?
(no I dont mean it as a comment on Apple users, but judging from the link, it seems he's not all there).

Ouch. I smell politics.
Will it stop the ridiculous screaming? It really makes it comical and unbearable to watch.

Would they steal a car?
Unlike people who download their movies, they are making money from theft.
Or perhaps they finally figured out why copying isn't the same as stealing. :D

it is all fucked up now. I think we need a reboot.
And a 90% of cocaine traces.
IDIOTS.
No wonder they are having problems.

No, the world has always been stupid.
It is just became more obvious after internet v2. or whatever they called it.
They do, which many youtube videos show. :)
So it is a mixed blessing.
Good question, it is beyond stupid.
