Get used to the term "bait and switch". This is the same President who visits veterans hospitals and brags about how he supports the troops and our veterans and then proceeds to cut funding for VA hospitals and housing for military families.

This type of scenario is typical Bush/Rove administration. Stage a media event to make some statements, then do exactly the opposite when mainstream media aren't watching.

What is incredulous to me is that I _HAVE_ to pay to e-file. e-filing makes the whole process easier for everyone, so WHY SHOULD I PAY TO DO IT???? I can file a paper return for free, which ends up costing the government more since they have to hire people to handle it.

But instead the government uses my taxpayer dollars to send out postcards encouraging people to buy software like TurboTax or pay accountants like H&R Block to file electronically.

Free e-filing should pretty much be a right, IMHO.

I wrote my rep (Tom Petri R-WI) and he replied saying he voted against it because it would require lighter cars and lighter cars will result in more fatalities and more severe injuries in the event of a car crash. Ugh!

I also just last week wrote to my senators (Russ Feingold and Herbie "Goes Bananas" Kohl) asking for a full tax rebate on SLEHUV/Hybrid vehicles like they give for SUVs. SUV owners also get a 20% _annual_ tax rebate after the initial purchase. I love having legislation go to the highest bidder.

The host itself doesn't host any adult content, but the IP that it had recently acquired was listed in the same IP block as pretty much every adult/teen/kiddie porno site you can think of, and most that you can't think of. Ameritech subscribed to the blacklist and so I couldn't forward my domain mail to my ameritech.net account. It was a weekend from hell.

However, for this same position, listing your translating duties might fall into the Hobbies-n-Interest category.
