The State of Wisconsin will do just that this year. I'm not sure if it is only the state taxes, or if they'll allow you to do federal also, but somehow I'd think that a state agency would only be able (allowed?) to do state revenue.

I'm not a democrat, but I'm certainly not a republican. That said, what in the hell do you need an assault rifle for? Most the anti-gun people are after the insane automatic high-power weapons. No one is saying you can't have a hunting rifle. Nor do I see a problem with having to register if you own a rifle or handgun. I have to register when I buy a car. Both have the power to kill.

I have never seen a valid argument for this gun nut crap.

I use straight gentoo linux at work. At home however I'm on Windows 2000 because the MIS staff where I work is uses some Sidewinder firewall and they'll only support the Softnet VPN client. So I'm stuck on Windows for telecommuting. Of course the VPN works like crap anyway.

I suggested that they use the LEAF Project firewall so I could use any number of open clients. Not mention that LEAF is free. My boss considered it, but then realized that our MIS staff is a bunch of jackanapes and that they needed to pay for support. I totally understood.

So if anyone knows better than I how to connect to the Sidewinder firewall from linux, feel free to let me know.

Also Medal of Honor and Battlefield 1942 keep me entertained.

Why are you stuck to 1.0.1-r1? Just unmask 1.1 and you'll get 1.1. You can copy the 1.1 ebuild and make a 1.2a ebuild. As soon as 1.2b source is released I'll be submitting a 1.2b ebuild.

You just need to unmask it by commenting out any mozilla lines in /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask. The gentoo people mask apps to create an aura of stability.

One of my sourceforge projects recently joined forces with some others, and I had the fortune of meeting some developers who were keen on php+xml+xslt. I thank the gods for this. Anyway for those interested in PHP and really separating the display layer from the logic layer, using XML and XSLT is handy, to say the least.

Although the Declaration of Independence (1776) was written before the Constitution (1787). Besides the Declaration of Independance is not a living document, where as the Constitution is, in my opinion. The DoI was a one-time shot telling the King of England that we (USA) didn't answer to him anymore. And that was the end of it. The Constitution, on the other hand, is the set of rules which govern all of our laws and regulations to this day. This is the reason Congress would amend the Constitution. Amending the Delcaration of Independence would be quite silly and pointless.
