I can see some pins I've put on earth, that are shown on the moon !
(One of them was in Japan; I guess the coordinates are similar)
Including the famous extension for North Korea !
That got me for a moment !
The download button didn't work on Firefox.... big surprise;-)
But you can find the URL (a big one) by looking at the source code of the page.
DL now, speed varies alot (40 K/s - 400 k/s)
Usually AV are lazy "string" (bytes) scanners, and could detect those bytes signatures databases on other products. But I would assume any program would at least encrypt their db...
Thanks, I'll look into avast; I wanted a free AV for virtual machines. Personally, I would recommand f-prot. Small footprint and it saved me and friends many times. I tried AVG, but that thing is big, complex and annoying.
To borrow a quote from Shigeru Miyamoto, "A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever." I think that applies to pretty much any software project, though of course "good" is relative to the user.Wow, Duke Nukem Forever ® is sooo going to be good !!!
As someone said on fark.com (I'm sorry, I can't find a link to the comment), the people at myspace created a site where all the teenagers can create their stupid unreadable and ugly web pages, with all the background music they want. And you know what ? Its all in the same place. Myspace.
At least, you only need to know where *not* to browse, and the rest of the internet is still... well not that bad, after all.;-)
I think we sould get a new pool, asking if we want to ban linking to that now crappy site. Hell, I'm sure those are submitted by them, just to get ad revenu...

the rovers don't use Java; only some analysis software in some Nasa HQ do.
No this is not a "fact" of life. The problem here is that when the page is GONE, the memory is not released. If I open a big graphic file, and then close the tab, I expect to see the memory released, not LOST.
My god, this post is as useless as your comment...

Pointless article. Michael Just want ad impressions for its site, and that small useless article... on 3 pages !!!

Nice, another description of what Web "2.0" is.
;-)
> It would be typical with a forum full of engineers to simply pass up web 2.0 as some marketing buzzword
Well you know, its engineers and "enginners" that make up the things that you use everyday; *Not* marketing people.
Unless you work for Apple
Exactly !!

Even on windows, using truecrypt, is really easy. Would be better than nothing.

Actually, you can't even use the word Theory, since "lntelligent design" cannot be proven true or false... Ever.
So in my book, "lntelligent design" is Nothing. Not even worth this post
You could try to set a "skip inbox" in your filter; So your labelled emails won't show up in your inbox...
