ICOs are illegal methods of commercial fundraiser in almost all countries and they're basically Kickstarter and GoFundMe but less reliable with less accountability and zero oversight. That is not an exaggeration, that is exactly how I describe it.
Using humans on this scale to train their garbage, scrambled-together AI is not going to work. The AI will make associations that aren't there and jump to conclusions based on coincidence. This is not how you train an AI and as a gigantic youtube channel owner and operations, I assure you, the AI has gotten less accurate every week since they implemented it. It's basically the "correlation is not causation" in AI form. It'll start associating the words "like and subscribe" and wearing red shirts as clues to content being offensive based on random chance because it's just processing yes or no decisions that humans made and having zero guidance.
The actual feud between Google and Amazon is Youtube vs Twitch (so Alphabet vs Amazon actually) and they're competiting to see who can mismanage their platform the worst, enforce the rules unevenly and make them up as they go, and generally piss off their users the most. Up until recently Twitch was winning by banning males more than females for lewd acts on live stream but Youtube pulled WAY ahead by ignoring reports going back to 2006 about underage fetish erotica disguised as kids content. Also the CEO Susan is the most under-qualified person to run a giant company in the entirety of the US, including non-english speakers, the mentally unstable, and non-human animals.
With other games' microtransactions you have a 0% chance of getting the value back. Is it really that stupid comparatively? (btw the answer is yes for the Genesis kitty)
I think they found a better business model. Facebook sells user data, especially to the NSA, spies on everyone, abuses monopolies and patents, violates multiple countries' laws, and lies about everything all the time. Bitcoins fight oppression and discrimination from the World Bank and UN, fights manipulative billionaires, fights Wall Street assholes, and fights oppressive governments. Bit a difference there.
A bunch of groups did tests and putting a really good gas generator in the back can get you more than triple that range. It's not exactly efficient money or energy-wise but it does work in actual tests.
I signed up for a Kraken and Gdax (aka Coinbase) account lately and between the two I needed a live pic of my license, pic of me holding my driver's license, my social, my full name, a scan of my license, a pic of me holding my signature, etc. They comply with the banking secrecy act or they get shut down (like Tradehill). So because I had to give them all this, I report all my income in Quickbooks at my company where I run 4 giant mining rigs. So don't just assume all of us are tax evaders as most of us are not.
According to charts on websites that people actually use, it didn't quite hit $10,000. Anyway, this is very uncommon during the winter when people don't have to offset the insane energy costs of mining hardware with cooling. In fact I'm heating my apartment and shop with minres. So I also don't have to play for heat (or electricity for the miners depending on how you look at it). People are willing to sell their bitcoins for a much lower price in the winter because of this so that's odd. Yes I know the southern hemisphere is a thing that exists. They just don't own many bitcoins.
People inside and outside of Youtube as a company have stated that they have very clear evidence that Youtube staff does no care or purposely ignores laws and child safety and illegal content etc because they put image and marketing and PR and growth above all else. THAT is what caused this. A huge multi-channel owner named Matthias is currently destroying them on social media over this issue and they're still doing nothing to fix it while lying and saying that they are. I'm surprised they aren't forwarding all searchers of these terms IP addresses to the NSA or something. Like seriously, Google does that for other categories.
To fit into Tumblr's community you have to be so far left that you can't see moderates even with a telescope. That's why it's failing. People are turning on that whole group and their complete and utter lunacy.
