anaconda finished without an error. its the installed FC3 that wont boot. anyways, i've just finished downloading FreeBSD 5.3, maybe this one is better for me
i had Fedora 2 on this PC (and Fedora 3 Test2) installed, both worked fine, but Fedora 3 final refuses to boot.
i have tried an upgrade, fresh install (ereased and recreated all partitions), nothing helped. it stopped everytime at different points in the boot process.
PC is a P4C 2.8 GHz, i865PE, 512 MB Ram, Geforce 4Ti so nothing really special about it
this my be isolated to my PC or not, but stuff like this stopps People from trying Linux. (i'm not really sure if i should re-install Fedora 2)
just FYI: the DNS entry for ftp.mozilla.org hsa several IP Adresses all around (the world), so just using ftp.mozilla.org will get you a random mirror
The IP adresses are (if you want a specific mirror): 207.200.85.49, 64.12.168.21, 64.12.168.243, 130.207.108.135, 131.188.3.71, 140.211.166.134, 156.56.247.196, 204.152.184.113, 207.12,6.111.216,207.126.111.217, 207.126.111.218, 207.126.111.219, 207.126.111.220, 207.126.111.221, 207.126.111.222, 207.126.111.223, 207.126.111.224
you know firefox (and mozilla) has one huge problem with Windows Domains. The Cache is replicated to the Profile store. the default cache is 50 MB, multiply that with 1000 Users. everyone is turning their PC on at 8am which can cause serious bandwith issues ind the morning and Storage issues at your login server (Bug 74085)
and i'M constantly getting IRQ 193... nobody cared or something similar.
i've noticed this with Gentoo to, searched google, but didnt find a soulution.
Ubuntu looks great but my mouse curser was stopped working ever 2-3s for 0.1 sec or something like this. i think its somehow related to the IRQ issue.
(System is a P4C, 2.8 GHz HT activated, i865PE Board)
btw: the current Linux desktop (i think it was Gnome 2.6 or 2.8) looks much better then when i've tried it the last time (i think it was KDE2 or something).

> There may be now since they're using a processor similar to the G5 in the new Xbox........
the last thing i'Ve heard (dont know if they changed it allready) was that they want 3 Dual Core G5s with an ATI Next Gen Card.

most extensions will work with 1.0 without much change. if you dont want to change it yourself, goto http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showforum =2 for repacked extentions that will work with 1.0
Thats easy:
Girls = Time x Money
Furthermore, we take the statement, "Time is money", and we get:
Time = Money
Girls = Money x Money
Girls = Money^2
Moreover, the statement, "Money is the root of all evil" means that:
Evil = the square root of money
Girls = (Evil)^1/2 (Evil)^1/2
which reduces to...
Girls = Evil
thanks, but your server is sending this as plain text, maybe its time to check the mime settings
