Anyone remember playing this game a few years back? It was awesome how you could interact with the developers in game almost on a daily basis, even the president of the company played every other day. I guess it never took off because of its niche market, but the lack of combat and need of watching you back made character development and in the case of this game developing your compound your main goal.
That is for middle of the line places. If you go out in Miami, LA or NYC. That might only be about 12 good nights at a bar or club. 400 dollar bottles are the norm at the happening places in these cities.
I saw on the specs that it has a vga port. Could these computer serve to dish out divx and hi-def video from a wireless server? Is the chip-set capable of tv out with a vga2svido adapter o connected straight to a vga port on the tv?
Fringe is a similar app that lets you connect to skype and make voip calls. What would be great is if these kind of apps worked over G3. Here in Mexico incoming calls to cellphones are free, so in theory you could us an all data plan and use skype for your outgoing calls.
I find it odd that the US being the worlds largest economy and #1 consumer does not always get the latest products. Here in Mexico, at least with Nextel PTT phones we are at least 2 years ahead with the offerings having access to semi decent phones while the Nextel USA handles only bricks that look like phones from the 90's.
I started using Vista as a result of a new laptop. While ditching Vista and going back to XP was my first choice the lack of drivers for some of my components was a problem. Over the last 6 months the frequent updates, have made the operating more responsive and games run smoother. i belive Vista was shipped a year early but it is now catching up to where its nearing XP's usability. I say otherwise, Vista is here to stay and sooner or later, most people will be using it daily.
Terrasoft http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/ is a company that sells IBM powerd desktops that run Linux. I wouldn't doubt they start selling this chips now that they have started selling yellowdog pre-instaled.
I mexico there is basically only one phone company, TELMEX. Everyone buys there dsl from them, (sure there are 2 or 3 cable providers but thats only in 3 cities.) as part of there package you can use your same user/pass while at there hotspots. This places are located everywere: malls, downtown, random streets, airports, ect. As a result you get free (all ready paid for) access to the internet almost nation wide.
Wire will never bbe taken down, since they are the major source of broadband. Here in Mexico Telmex the only real tephone company has invested heavely on DSL and cable modems are virtually a thing of the past.
At least we are years away from MyDuke.nukem.forever. This will give al the anti-virus companies a chance to prepare, althogh it will be a primitive virus, obsolete before it comes out.
This could be an excelent oportunity to test the distribution of lasge, somewhat unavailable files through a P2P network. Could someone post the Sig2Dat link?

What are they going to do with the fact that the main actor is now part of another series? Prison Break
The Pope does commit sins, but he does not confess directly to god... he confesses to a bishop or in any case, any othere priest will do.
This has to be the worst kind of BS a PR department can spud out.

"Windows -Loghorn- will present you less BSOD. Joi Ito reports that Windows -Longorn- will"
Will this feature be available in both products?

We are still far of from a full working space elevator, but advances like this take us a step closer to full on space exploration.
