Strangely consumers haven't been trained yet to make their purchases at the same rate forever after an album is launched. Ie, an album released during the three months is taking a larger hit than yoko ono is.
I despise oracle as much as the next guy. But they really haven't done a bad job with java. Incremental improvements yes. But not bad improvements. And their databases are quite nice if you have money to waste.
It's just everything else they do other than java and databases that is horrible.
Form an executive committee to create a taskforce to partner with a strategic consulting firm to build a magic quadrant of developing best practices in this area.
Copyrights don't expire anymore. This is necessary so that great writers like Tolkien are incentivized to keep writing more books. It also prevents anybody from making Mickey Mouse porn.
A flat tax doesn't have to be regressive. For example consider a flat 90% income tax, but the government pays for health/housing/food/education could be progressive.
If I randomly assign nicknames to people. Truly random. And your nickname happens to end up as "mother fucking ass pony with open herpes sores." Is that a misunderstanding? No because it was random. And I had no ill intent since it was random.
But you're still stuck with an offensive nickname.
Hey now, I donate plenty to charity's and I'm still an asshole. - koch brothers for a whiter america - merit scholarships for priveleged white people whose parents might hire my company. - Guns for tots. - Coal for a more american smelling america - storage units for homeless people somewhere I can't see them
Don't paint all of us assholes with the same broad brush.
Obviously a percentage approach is stupid if the problem being solved is time based. Per transaction fixed cost is the way to go if the goal is to discourage frequent trades.
Can I suggest you tell the anecdotal people that the people's phones that the government wants to access might have skin darker than a natural tan?
But don't word it that way cause that's racist. Show them photos of sample people who own phones that the government might want to access
Invariably it was an MBA grad that asked for the highly marketable enhancement. The scientists, presented with a problem, just solved it.

How do you know "no property is seized, no citation is issued, and no force is used" if there is no footage?
Why can't people just say "INTERNET EXPLODERER"?
"Browsers" *don't* do things differently in any meaningful way. But the rectal juice that is "INTERNET EXPLODERER" does.
Just say it.
... Vote in fear that the other guy might win, again.
Bad shit has been going on since the very beginning. But generally it felt like, at least on the important things, we were getting better.
FREE MARKET MAN is here to save the day!

That was different. Remember the Stasi were the bad guys.

Amazon could pay people to receive shipping. That clause isn't covered.

Better people is easy. Just do random selection. It may not result in optimal. But it would on average deliver 'better'.
Horse shit.

Efficiency is great until the other team is in power. As such, I'm a fan of beauracracy.
Also, I've generally found that beauracrats have good intentions. They just can't execute efficiently.
But that involves courts. Or at least the appearence of judicial oversight.

Developer wages suffer from a simple rule - you can't make more money than your boss.
And since every developer has 2+ bosses, the extra expense of a developer raise quickly gets out of hand.
Or maybe they were simply wary of the headline "Costco donates 1 million jars from salmonella plant to orphans to mix with their cat food."?
Hmm... I quit a job because they moved *to* a flavia machine.
