    As a student of Flordia State University (the number 1 rated party school by Playboy and Princeton Review.) I can tell you that anything which cuts in on our drinking/smoking time is looked down upon as a needless waste of time.

    Your not going to find any programmers in college willing to work on a project longer then 1 hour a day that is too confusing to code drunk or high.

    Marijuana... After I'm done sorting out the seeds and stems from my sac in preporation to smoke a joint/bowl I just blow off the excess shake hoping I'll vacum it up next time. Last time I clean out my keyboard though I found where it all went though.. At times where I'm desperate for 'erb and the town is dry I've had thoughts of cleaning out my keyboard, but I'm not that much of a pothead. (close but not quite)

    I don't think that you can do that much with a bar coder reader. However, a Magnetic card reader would be great. Someone out there must know how much the cost and where to get them. All sorts of cards use a magnetic strip. Not many use barcodes. What about a smart card reader/writer? I'd love to put money on my FSU smart card.Any ideas?

    I was absolutly furious when I found out you play Soldier of Fortune under Linux I had to buy the game again. I though forsure it would be like quake where I could just download the binaries. If I would have known I would have waited to by the game. I'm sure many other people have this problem too as compaines like Loki need to tell users about this.

    I completely understand as they are two different compaines etc. But Loki needs to tell the community they can't buy the windows version and then download linux binaries. As for SOF, I'm sure I'll buy the linux port if it ever drops below $30 dollars and I don't need the money for extra crack.

    Hey I just wanted to share some info with the people still in high school that love computers.

    If you have AP test in your area they offer a Computer AP test. You don't have to take the class you can ask to just take the test. I found this out 3 weeks after I could have taken it.

    AP classes get you COLLEGE CREDIT. Take the Computer Science AP test, it's easy.

    I can't tell you people how pissed I am at my guidnence consuler who I aided for didn't tell me about it. I was a fucking aid in guidence for 1 semester. I came in every fucking day with a laptop why the fuck didn't the bitch think to say somthing! (If you can't tell I'm pissed of I missed my chance.)

    I don't know why you think this comment belongs in this story but it dosen't.. Anyway to answer you quesiton it wouldn't quite work. I've thought about doing that with Electric and Gas engines. There are tons of problems with it however. 1. your engines (just like tires) would wear down at different rates causing you to have to rotate your engines. 2. every engine isn't going to have exactlly the same power output as the other one, so you car might pull the to left or right. If you correct this by just holding the steering wheel straight your tires are going to wear down quickly and unevenly, just as having improperly balanced tires would do to your car. 3. Cooling would be a big problem, not to mention how you would get enough power to those 4 different engines. When you put 4 of somthing in a car it becomes 4 times more complicated. There are many other reasons why your idea wouldn't work but I won't name them all.

    First off your totally correct about or shitty space station. But we see who is doing all the work in the suppose Internation Space Station.. As far as our healthcare system goes you foreigners just don't get it. For the tax's that we would be paying for a health care system, any half smart person buys somthing we call health insurance, and thanks to captilism we can shop around for the best deal which is a hell of alot better the paying 50% of what we earn for a shitty health care system.. Thats why you see people from Canada and other foreign contries come to American to get operations done. Because they have to wait months to get routine surguries done in there contries such as Gall-balder removal etc. Besides who fucking won the cold war. Face it American isn't the ownly nation on the earth, were just the best.

    I don't think that is much of a diffrence. Maybe by living in Utah you got use to it. I went to Utah at least 3-4 times for 1-2 weeks a peice. My sister who is a strong mormon and was just married in the temple even agrees that Utah is different although she thinks that it is for the Better. My cusion from Provo Utah could not belive that we lock our doors, and people actaully aproach you on the street etc to talk to you about their religon.
    He asked me if I have ever kissed a girl and the poor kid is 18. WTF? My other cusion from a small city in Utah asked me pretty much the same thing. She asked if I have ever tried coffee, and If I have ever seen a alcholic beverage.

You people are so far from the real world you will NEVER be able to live outside Utah. I saw how my Relatives come down from Utah and the way he reacted here in Fort.     Try taking a zero of most of the prices that I have seen. 100 dollars is a lot more resonable then $1000. As far as the cost of creation, I'm sure you have more then paid that off right now. If you want to complain about not getting any money back then look at The Gimp. It can do almost as much as Photoshop and is alot, well infinitly cheaper. Photoshop is a great program and their is no denying that. The man is right however most students can't even afford the student discounted version of photoshop. It's still about $300. Thats why people where forced to pirate it until the Gimp came out.

    How are the high-tech jobs over their? After graduating from college I'm going to move out of America. I'm sick of this fucking country. (Espically after just getting arrested for only 7 grams of cannabis.) I would like to work as a network admin but I would guess that the country is quite popular, and their aren't that many jobs. Or the government makes it a pain in the ass to get a work visa.
