Facebook can't even just show me stuff I care about on their never-ending webpage. I'm constantly telling it to ignore various sources and people so that it can show me the few things that I actually care about. I have little faith that they can show me useful content on a single screen device.

People vote for incumbents because they are the lesser evil when given only 2 choices. The amount of money necessary to get a primary challenger's name out is so large that incumbents are almost never taken out at the primary stage. So it will come down to a D vs R, and the districts have been carefully carved up so that it will almost always be the same party picked (which is normally the incumbent's party). What we need are term limits for ALL political positions.
The people building massive systems in Javascript may not mind it too much, but I sure hope I never end up having to maintain one of these massive Javascript systems. We all know it's difficult to come back later and extend a system, even if you were the one who originally built it. Javascript makes that problem 10x worse. Refactoring Javascript consists of running Find across the entire source and slowly going through the long list of results to see what needs to be changed. Hopefully all the developers used consistent names for the same variable. And finding all the "objects" of a particular type? Good luck with that.

Any fraud possible from electronic voting is nothing compared to the fraud possible with the current paper system. Paper votes can easily be lost or rendered unreadable. And many states don't require any sort of ID to vote, making it possible for the dead to vote.
