You are forgetting that most HDs do not get replaced because they ware out they are replaced when a new computer is bought or they become to small to be of any use.
I work for a small phone company in Iowa, every thing at the customers house from DSL modem to their phone is called Customer Premise Equipment to distinguish where the problem is. If it is our equipment it is called CO equipment (central office).
athletes are at risk for low performance if the air quality cannot be brought down to acceptable levels
Uh..call me crazy, but shouldn't this have been something that should have been taken into serious consideration before choosing a place like this for the Olympics? I mean, I may not be an expert on human physiology, but it would seem to me that having clean air for the Olympic competitors to breathe would have ranked among one of the highest in the checklist for selecting a location for the Olympics.
I'll call you crazy, you forget the main reason that any place is picked for the Olympics, how well the Olympic comity is bribed.
Glad the alternate link is there but it takes longer to load then the "correct" one. I suspose this will change once more people look at it. I would be interesting to see where the tripping point is.
Might we see a expire in so many days tag in the future if search engines get to powerfull? On the flip side I can see a lot of people complaining saying if you did not want it viewed by the public don't put it their. I can't see any easy answers. It's not like putting information up on a public bulletin board in real life where the paper gets taking down or fades to blank.
Sounds familiar I've replaced: 1) LCD screen twice 2) keyboard twice 3) hard drive 4) the flaps that protect the PCMCIA slots fell off and get stuck in the PCMCIA pins 5) the hinges that holds the screen 6) the power supply
The only thing original on my laptop is the DVD/floppy and the battery
As someone that has lived on a farm and has planted corn next to soybeans all my life, I would have expected to see soybeans start growing ears of corn any second now. This sounds like someone's attempt to get a nice grant.

this doesn't include being connected to a network
You must also make sure that the computer is not connected to a power supply.
