Where's the download link? Where's the exit nodes? Where's the network?
I don't see a website for Riffle, only a.pdf.
There are even other projects at MIT with the same name. (Riffle water monitoring system) https://civic.mit.edu/blog/hhcraig/open-water-project-exploring-open-source-water-quality-monitoring
This 'Riffle' is just a paper not an actual network, afaict.
I am more worried about my ISP packet sniffing my traffic than a black hat. As long as the SSL is good enough to keep my ISP ignorant, it's good enough for me.
I will only be interested in Windows Phone once it is released on modern hardware. (dual core 1.2ghz+) Current and planned Windows Phone devices have pathetic hardware.
The cover is super tacky. Looks like a website from 1995. Come on, take some pride in your work... Was going to buy it till I saw the cover. Maybe next edition.
You are dropping support for LAN play with Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3, so high speed internet is required for multiplayer, and if your Battle.Net servers are down for any reason then I can't play multiplayer.
I have been waiting breathlessly for these games, so that I can have LAN parties again, now all that was for nothing. You have destroyed my hopes.
Because of your decision, I am canceling my World of Warcraft, and my wife's. And I will never purchase another Blizzard game as long as I live.
If you know C++, willing to code military embedded software, and are a U.S. Citizen with ability to get secret clearance, apply at Boeing for Embedded Software Engineer II, both the "College" and "Experienced" levels. I got a job there while I was in the middle of my MS, and my friends all got jobs there too. An advantage of Boeing is they pay overtime (Thanks to SPEEA) - which means add about $20k to your base salary and that's your real salary. Good luck.

It's not "the law" that magazine subscriptions are subject to the recipient's local sales tax. Mail order companies only have to charge sales tax if they have a physical presence in the recipient's state. Apparently O'Reilly has a physical presence in Washington, which sucks for me.

Dude... How did you *not* know this before taking the job???
"What is your technology stack?" "What bug tracking?" "What build tools?" "What development environment?"
You need to interview them, just as much as they are interviewing you.

That's pretty sick.

Bad move!
They should be paying them not punishing them.
