sure... this is like if you took the tire iron out of your trunk, and beat the last bit of life out of any hope of living outside of a police state. then jacked up the car, placed said freedom under it, removed the tires, and then pulled the jack .
We sure have learned something. Don't let the shadow government agents sneak around the fusion reactors or they will try to force the steel to fail to create severely public drama in order to get the sheeple to buy in to their next secret conquest.
I have also read that pull it is industry jargon for pulling a building with cables , not necessarily explosives.
I believe that there are a lot of people that do look at this objectively also, and they come to the conclusion that a conspiracy this large is freaking impossible.
There may be some oddities (ownership change) and some questions (timeline), but these are no reason to dismiss everyone who does not share in your belief is a sheep.
I often find myself coting for a third party candidate. The biggest hope that I have is that the third party can rake in more than 5% nationwide, which then qualifies them for many of the major party perks. As long as the third party doesn't self destruct before the next major election, like Ross Perot, then there is a chance at a decent running. With the amount of money that could be injected, the ignorant masses wont feel like they will be throwing away a vote on a party that they agree with the next time around as the candidate will appear to actually have a chance. This will at the very least encourage conversation and debates that arent black and white trash talking that amounts to no more than " your view isnt my view so you are stupid and you cheat"
Your opinion matters in a huge way when you vote off the major parties. It could even change the country.
we are dealing with idiots though. Defining things as web page can be very different to different people. Is the front page of slashdot a page, or is clicking every vid on the front page of redtube a page. One day, under your plan, we would hear of how some poor family whose kid viewed a few hours of porn paying through the nose was wronged because the kid only viewed one page (url).
It must be fun to be so bitter while still being so wrong. Explaining the origin of the name in your post in now way addresses the OPs point that the management of those employed under that name were abusive to their customers to the point that the name was ruined.
The rest of your name calling and mud slinging was quite amusing however.
this is the fun of our credit system. no need to actually be responsible as a vendor anymore, just give out horrible lines of credit to anyone, and when they walk away and cancel you simply report the infraction and remove any chance of this person buying something for the next 7 years.
I have a feeling that the law as written in 1977 did not specifically address RAM and VRAM. The always technologically proficient judges have had plenty of time since then to be convinced in a manner that a well funded copyright holder would see as useful.
what if i were to access the web site with the laws, then a copy is technically on my computer, and somehow a port had been opened up to allow remote access to my machine. Do I get to pay the massive fine for "making available" ?
The industry is looking to set a record on longest lived DRM scheme. Everyone has this already, so no one will need to crack it, and a presentation will go to a CEO somewhere about this new scheme that has not been broken in over a week.
From my personal standpoint, we have a plan to not have to spend so much. My wife and I have a house near enough to a city center to not need two cars once we dont have to have jobs. The house will be paid for, so now our three largest bills are wiped fairly clean.
However, my mother in law who is in the age range this aritcle cites is continuing to take out loans for furniture and home improvement, while having 3 years to pay on a car and 15 to go on the house. She has had some bad luck, but planning and realistic expectations, and a hair of delaying gratification would go miles to improve her situation and make retiring possible.
while i agree with most of what you post, I think there is a big gap here. Being from the south, not so "deep", but with an accent, I was amazed when I moved to Boston and realized that I was surrounded by some of the most racist people I had ever met. Saying 99 % of the south is severely racist is wrong, but it would be true that there is a constant racial tension, and the things that like-skinned people say when together in a homogenous group are absurd and offensive. The reason that there is so little black-white racial tension in a place like new hampshire is simple... they dont allow black people in. The common defense that I saw in the north east is that new englanders arent racist because they arent southerners, and it is the southerners who are racist. I was frightened by this...
ok, yes, somewhat. I wasnt as clear as I should have been. All caches are not known, as you said, and DNS isnt a push system. But, there are cases of things like stealth masters that do keep track of all of its slaves, and these can tell the slaves to come look for new information. Not allowing updates to the slaves because of TTLs would create a non-needed time gap in propagation.
I have a suspicion that Comcast could solve this problem for you if you ordered PPV movies through your cable box instead of netflix movies over the modem.
That would appear slightly anti-competitive though, so I am certain it isnt true.
thank you! A TTL is not a promise to never change the record. A true authoritative source can change and push new information. A TTL is an amount of time that a cached record can live before the holder of the cache needs to check back for new information, which is usually not changed.
my understanding of this is that you can continue to ask for this information to be removed, and they will have to remove it. There needs to be a way that if you request removal and prove the inaccuracy of the record, that it cannot just be dumped back in place. Sending three letters every month to clear the same wrong and outdated information is a clear waste of time, and that responsibility should be removed from the person being negatively impacted.
scant proof , no kidding. I have someone that constantly gets new lines of credit that seems to never pay the previous lines on time, who always uses my phone number for some reason. Collections people are constantly calling, and we are constantly fighting them off. Now, if anyone issuing this idiot credit did a small bit of research, based on the phone number alone, they would realize that they were not going to get paid back.
btw, Jessica Grier can kiss my ass... go pay your bills.
what about negligence. If you ask for something to be removed that gets replaced in an automated fashion the next month, then there is a proveable disregard for accuracy. It isnt libel, but taking the cheap and easy way can provide known incorrect information.
This is why when I buy something, I consider its batteries/charging method. If it can have removable batteries, it will use AA or AAA, and I keep plenty of rechargeables for that. If it is something like mp3 or phone with non-standard batteries, it will charge from USB. If a device cant meet one of these requirements, I simply dont buy it. I keep a USB hub with its own power source at home to charge devices, and I have a wall wart usb charger that I may take on the road. This leaves me a max of three plugs, one for a laptop, one for the usb device of choice, and one for the AA/AAA charger... all depending on location.
I tried this once with a kid named Linus. The profit part didnt work out so well ...

I think that is close :)

A keyboard? How quaint.

I agree , your mom has a nice rack!

Im not joking, people are really dumb sometimes.

no that was from last year

So does this mean that you are being paid to be an arrogant prick?

Free?
That word that you are using, I dont think it means what you think it means.
