I got to the part where George Soros is lauded.

If there is anyone anywhere who comes closest to the Smoking Man in the X-Files, it is Soros. The guy is a genius, no doubt, and I'm all for rampant capitlism and money making, but Soros is just a son-of-a-bitch. Really. That guy would be more than happy to utterly destroy the economy of any third world country to make $50. Happily.

Come to think of it, maybe I actully like Soros and I'm just suprised to read a limp wristed, whiny, leftist, apologist like Katz stick up for him.

I want a networked home entertaintment system but I don't have any money. Is someone out there willing to code one up for me? I can't write decent code in any languange, but I can sure point out shit that I want you to do, and explain to you exactly how it should be done. Let me know when this gets completed so I can log in to Sourceforge and download it. Thanks.

Anyway, stop posting pro-child molestation drivel or you might meet the same fate: A cactus in the face, courtesy of me.

Thats a lot like my problem with Slashdot. I can filter out the trolls by raising my threshold to >= +3, but I can't filter out the morons by setting it at <= -1.

I've tried playing around with user settings, and adding people to my Friends list, but it isn't working. I still get all this bullshit on my screen, like that story where you all were clamoring for unfettered access to kiddie porn. Now theres a real selling point for Linux: "Hire a Linux Developer, He's Probably a Child Molestor."

Way back in the day I was traveling with my laptop. I was dabbling in Linux at the time and it was a dual boot machine, set up to boot into Debian by default.

A son of a bitch stole it in an airport but about 2 hours later security found it in a trash can. Apparently the thief booted it up, relaized that the operating system had rendered the machine useless for performing any worthwhile task and therefore had no resale value.

Sometimes, even thieves get it right.
