    I haven't been a subscriber in 8 years and I get something in the mail from Comcast.... Every. Single. Day.

    I know sending junk mail costs next to nothing, but maybe if they step it down a notch they can save a few dollars.

    Launches to GTO need to be going a lot faster (7.7 km/s for ISS, vs 9.88 km/s for GTO). The Falcon 9 uses up enough fuel that it cannot execute the "boostback" burn listed in the image.

    Instead it continues on in a parabolic arc until it hits the atmosphere to slow down, firing the rocket at the last minute to stop over the drone ship.

    As in, the booster does not have enough fuel to cancel out its momentum and position itself over the launch point.

    What they fail to understand is banks WANT centralized authentication and authority. Its how the banks exercise power over another. The bigger bank tells the smaller banks what to do.

    Even if blockchains could perform all the tasks they claim to, it basically takes the authority and control out of the hands of the big bank and evens out the control so no one entity can corrupt it. It might be best for the system and the people, but the big banks won't go for it.

    The scam calls were already illegal. So of course they don't care about robocall laws.

    However, having a mobile phone only means I don't recall the last time I received one of those.

    Perhaps someone got your financial details and is directing scams at you? Not sure how to deal with that level of identity theft.

    And don't think I hate node. My job is a JS front-end with Java back end. It predates node, someone may have picked that if they were to build it today. (But not me. I am ok with node, but I prefer Java 8.)

    Exactly. This is why I think the only thing that will supplant Java as the defacto language of business is a JS one like Node or its successors.

    Especially with web frameworks taking over all ui, now we can turn or crappy front end "web programmers" into server system programmers.
