Not a chance. As a seasoned Graffiti user, you simply can't beat it. The biggest advantage is that you can write "heads-up" ie: you don't have to look at the screen while writing. The stylus only moves the distance of the strokes, and it's easy to keep the stylus in the Graffiti writing area without having to constantly watch where you are tapping. It makes writing during a face-to-face conversation less obtrusive.

Yes, they are currently selling TiVo now, but were selling ReplayTV boxes several years back. Earlier this year, I purchased a replacement ReplayTV remote that is AT&T OEM branded--identical to the ReplayTV 2000/3000 series remote but with an AT&T silkscreen label. The boxes were ReplayTV boxes with AT&T branding on the box, the remote, and on the menu screens. They were discontinued a while ago, but they still sold 'em.

That leaves me with just enough space to keep one of several 1/2 hour Simpsons episodes downloaded from ClieFlix (a 1/2 hour episode with no commercials is about 50MB)

It's very useful for both entertainment and work too.

Not necessarily. Imagine a web site that you log into and set up the transfer. You might have to have some agent installed on your PC, or maybe the agent could be tied to a web page (kinda like what DNS2GO.com does) or a small Java app. "Agent doesn't necessarily imply Windows. Now's a great time to come up with a workable, cross-platform solution!

  14. Re:I doubt it. on Where The Bandwidth Goes · · Score: 4, Insightful

I really wouldn't necessarily characterize it as "chatter". After all, isn't the point of P2P to allow multiple hosts to "share the load"? Though you may not be downloading anything, many might be downloading from you. (This is, of course, assuming you have your client configured to share.) KaZaA, by default, puts its installable executable in your shared directory making it available for anyone to grab.

If you have ever "expanded" the downloding sources, it often shows the download being done from multiple sources. It could just be that your client is uploading part or all of some shared file.

Not that there aren't inefficiencies, though.

It estimates these lengths by determinig the tree's length by using the tree's diameter and stored "tree data" based on tree type.
