Do you think their only way of getting nuclear weapons is by starting a nuclear program with nuclear reactors like the one at Brushehr?
If they want nuclear weapons they can buy them, they can develop them secretly, etc..
I think there must be a way to let Iran have nuclear energy plants, but for the Bush administration and people like you, there's no other way than ordering them to stop ALL nuclear activity impending the progress of their electric infrastructure.
Nuclear seems to be the way to cheap and clean energy, something any country should be able to achieve. Developed nations should encourage the adoption of alternative energy sources instead of discouraging them and opossing irrationaly.

As much as I seem a troll to you, I think you are the kind of short minded paranoid people I'm talking about (the one that abounds now a days).

I heard Bush speech this week, and my opinion is still the same.
He's the most stupid president ever, he coudn't even REPLY DECENTLY any question from the press.

When they asked about what's next no Iraq...
He more or less answered "We will see what's the best", clearly no idea, he ended the question with "if i didn't think we were gonna win, I wouldn't have sent our troops there"....... sooo ?... what a great answer to all our doubts

When they asked about any changes in equal right for homosexual couples marriages and stuff...
He ended talking about the baby of the vice-president.........
How can he just ignore all the questions like that??????

Finally when they asked about Iran...
He just said, "I would like to tell the people of iran, that they president could do best"...
"We are going to isolate Iran until the cease all nuclear activity"...

WON'T HE AND HIS FRIENDS FOR ONE USE THEIR REPUBLICANS-ULTRA-CONSERVATIVE-STUPID-BRAINS, and just come out with a plan for iran to let them use their nuclear program for peacefull purposes, like ENERGY for their country???

Wouldn't that put and end to this problem? They just wan't ENERGY, the problem is that Bush and his fellows doesn't care a shit, the only words his sub-developed inteligence lead him to say is "STOP ALL NUCLEAR ACTIVITY" without even considering an option.

In my opinion this politic of "no nuclear energy unless we AMERICA are ok with it" is just another demostration of the ignorance of your leader.

PD: Bush, idiot, AMERICA IS A CONTINENT, not your country, you have Latin America, Central America and North America, all them together form AMERICA, i'm just sick of hearing it.

    - It has a pretty decent GUI
    - I can use and see images from MSN contacts

How are we going to know where we should go if what we are able to see are things that are not there anymore ?
(I mean not in the place we see them, and maybe they doesn't exist anymore)
We could try to calculate the new coordinates of things, or simulate how things would be arround there now, but that is and will be far away from being usefull.
(try simulating the whole galaxy 2 billions of years in the future)
Errors in calculations due to inexactitude would mean inmense distances beacuse of the magnitude of the travel distances we are talking about.

So the places that we decide to go would always be wrong, and it would be very dangerous because it would be easy to appear in the wrong place (inside a planet, too close to a black hole, etc.) or it would be really easy to hit something at that speeds since there would be no alert, no radars, beacuse of travelling faster than light.

Are we doomed to travel at sub-light-speeds and never be able to reach that very very far places in considerable time?

I cant believe the music and movie industry hasnt figured this out yet, but it just a matter of time they understand they wont ever finish piracy by prohibiting or sueing.

Some day..... i hope..... in a near future..... they will realize they wont go anywhere acting like this, and understand that they have to compete with piracy as companies do with each other, the one that ends earning money is the one that gives you a better product or service.

Bands just doesn't spit high-quality-produced-cds/mp3-albums in their home garage from one day to another, it takes months and MONEY in a profesional studio, sometime with producers. Record companys have the instalations, or the money to afford the album production cost, it's not just a distribution issue.

For ex. when America was discovered, lot of bad things happened after that, but much more good things happened too. I see it as a new chance for humanity to discover new places, advance as race and just think in the boom that this would cause to global economy, new work places, new industries, new careers, etc, lot of new things... it will be a new era. I know is not as easy as I say here, and that maybe the money should be used to solve global hunger.

But i think we can do both, we just need to make the Tobin Tax real (0,1% tax to all international transactions would be inverted to help 3rth world countries) and a USA, Japanese, Chinese, Russian or whatever other country president like Kennedy (i think it was him how was when we got the moon) that with a strong hand decides to invert on starting Mars colonization, and i don't care if USA or other string country takes the first place in this, bcuz after all i'm sure my country won't ever do it (Argentina) we are still trying to estabilize our economy and pay our international debt.

So to conclude... LET'S DO IT, MARS IS WAITING.
