This actually called something along the lines of AIW 2006 PCIe, vs. your AIW 2006. Minor, and silly difference, but they distinguishible by the price. AIW2006 ~$140, AIW2006PCIe $200.
I have the same card, basically: AIW9600XT, and I love it.
ATi also has a unified driver for oh... years now!
I don't see how nVidia's change from GeForce2, GeForce3, GeForce440, GeForce 5500, GF6600, GF7800 makes any more sense than ATi's switch from Radeon 7500, 8500, 9500, X800, X1800, etc.
Nor can I easily pay my cell phone bill with cash.
There is a substantial enoughr eason to use credit/bank cards/checks for purchases - which isn't just ease of use, but lower prices and less time spent gettign money orders and such.
She is not a high ranking exec, just an academic, so why did the pattern of her calls not trigger a service stoppage for her?
IF you even scanned the article, you should have caught the mention that their fraud alerts systems did not alert her b/c they know she has a significant income and "sterling credit", so they knew they'd get their money, even though they had suspicions of fraud.
You do have to be a certain age to buy those games. Most retailers just don't enforce it, not unlike a retailer selling cigarettes to underage ppl. The problems lies more in the parents buying the games and then complaining about the violence - you bought it dumbass, pay attention to your kids.
I don't think games have become more violent, it just seems they are more realistic in their depiction of violence. Realistic scenarios, realistic graphics. If someone can't distinguish the game from reality, they are useless to society. Same goes for all the LARPers out there.
And I saw porn at 8 and have a fine understanding of sexuality and fantasy.
That'd be more like the supposed "video games made me kill" line if the "Pac Man" actually devoured those playing "ghosts", with, say, some fava beans and chianti?
Thermoregulation
As with all other members of the family Lamnidae (the mackerel sharks), the salmon shark is endothermic, meaning it is able to maintain a body temperature above the temperature of the surrounding water. This is unusual because most fish are ectotherms, having internal temperature that is nearly identical to the ambient water temperature.
All lamnids have vascular counter-current heat exchangers (retia mirabilia) that allow them to retain the heat produced by the metabolism of these fast-swimming sharks. Salmon sharks have retes in the cranium near the eyes, in the locomotor muscles, and in the viscera. They also have vascular shunts that allow them to alter the route of blood flow, further regulating rates of heat gain and heat loss. A few other fast-swimming fish, like tunas, also have this homeothermic ability, so this is an instance of convergent evolution between lamnid sharks and tunas.
Recent studies have shown that the salmon shark does indeed maintain an internal temperature well above ambient water temperature. In fact, the salmon shark probably has the greatest thermoregulatory ability of any shark, and internal body temperatures up to 60.1F (15.6C) greater than sea surface temperature have been recorded.
This thermoregulatory ability allows salmon sharks to range vertically through the water column in search of prey and to extend their niche to boreal waters.

The 'extra' dollar is in their pocket(s).
Paid: $30 (3 x $10)
Cost: $25 (3 x $8.33)
Refund: $5 = $3 (3 x $1) + $2 (bellboy)
Total: $28 (3 x $9.33) + $2 (bellboy) = $30
The trick is in the wording. You need to add the $25 cost to the $3 refund to get the difference of $2 in the bellboy's pocket, not try going in reverse.

If I was entertained by the movie 'Platoon', does that qualify? I gained pleasure from watching violence and destruction.
I don't think anyone would suggest we hold Oliver Stone accountable for making entertainment containing large amounts of violence.

Look into it, you'll see that is correct.
Unless the poster specifically meant 10,000 ways, there is no 'of'.

There is no "of" after "myriad". Just FYI.

And this would qualify as being "news" - as in new - how?
I read it, but the point is: it isn't new in any way, shape, or form.

Cingular used to sell an item that did this exact thing. I'd start there.
