  11. You're not far from where potatoes were invented. I bet you still eat freedom fries. Sometimes I feel like having regular Italian pizza, and sometimes I want some Domino’s. Besides, European food is (undeservedly) notorious for sucking, except in the south of Europe. Where do you think Americans got their food culture from?

Can't say I've ever had freedom fries... are they similar to french fries or is that just the PC way of saying it? Honestly, they were french fries for years, if you're offended by the name, deal with it... we shouldn't change names because they offend a few people.

At the time construction started they could justify the expense. Now? They're looking at employee cut backs. I wonder if the TSA could be driving away business?

Actually no. If you start up steam and it can't detect an internet connection it ask if you want to attempt loging in again or go to offline mode. Once in offline mode any game you have previously downloaded will be available. While it is true that you have to have an internet connection to download the games in the first place, you don't need to have one after installation.

Gratuitous Space Battles is one example. After installing the game the whole directory can be copied to a flash drive, transferred to another computer, and it will run standalone. No need to install steam or even take it off the flash drive. This is just one example and not all games have this level of freedom. DRM encountered in steam is entirely at the software developers discretion. Just look at Red Faction: Guerrilla. *Shudder* Microsoft DRM.

Something to do with a small worm that was incubating in their brains and as it grew larger and more mature it would literally drive the bee insane. I could be entirely mistaken, but that's what I heard.
